  1. It must be something about the Georgia climate that prevents that here. Even though we have all three species.
  2. Not bad, but I think the best looking is the Pamela Anderson Siliconebreast. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  3. Yep. The Chick has plenty of Bowfin......
  4. Yep. They make the nightcrawlers(earthworms) and the miniworms which are red wiggler size. They come in Natural and Red wiggler. Mine reads Natural, but they look more like Redwigglers. I bought the Miniworms at Wal-Mart. I found some good pictures of them at this site: http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/store/Berkley_Gulp_Mini_Earthworms.htm
  5. I heard that the Rainbows were the only ones hardy enough to survive the hatchery conditions. Check it out with your local hatchery and tell me what the real deal is.
  6. Famous, maybe...... Late, DEFINITELY.... Just messing with ya I know. I actually forgot all about it. ;D
  7. Berkley Gulp Miniworms(Natural) are the best trout bait around. But you have to hook them only once in the center(for that natural look) on a #8 hook, 2 split shot on 4lb test line. The split shot will vary as to how quick the current is. Ya want to slow it down enough so it stays in the strike zone longer. Tightlines!!!
  8. A Brown trout. You actually caught a fish that was introduced years ago. It's actually considered a native now, and hatcheries do not stock them. Rainbow trout are the only ones that are stocked. At least that's what I have been told, and have seen in Ga, Tenn and NC. It's actually a great feat to catch the elusive Brown Trout. Good job. BTW. You'll notice that stocked trout will have their bottom fins wore down to the point that it looks like someone clipped them back. They actually wear them down on the concrete floor of the hatchery tanks. I also heard that the hatcheries clip them on purpose. Hmmmm. I'm not sure what the real answer is. I should have stopped at the Hatchery and asked.
  9. Also known as: Beaverfish, Blackfish, Choupic, Choupique, Cottonfish, Cypress trout, Dogfish, Grindle, Grinnel, Grinner, Lawyer, Mudfish, Poisson-castor, Scaled ling, Shoepick, Shoepik, Shoepike, Shupik, Speckled Cat.
  10. Here's the best looking of them all. The Satilla River Redbreast!!!!
  11. Berkley Gulp Miniworms in the Natural color.
  12. I just tore the Rainbow trout up in Tennessee on the Little Pigeon River. I caught about 30 in a 7 day trip, and topped it off with an 18 in Brown trout. I used red wigglers, a #8 hook, and 2 slit shot on 4lb test line. Hook the worms once threw the middle for that natural look. Though I ran out early with the worms, I caught the most with, to include the big Brown, Berkley Gulp miniworms in the natural color. They are linked together like little sausages. That little 2 inch link wore those trout out. I hooked them the same way as I mentioned above. I could usually catch 2 or 3 on the same bait. That's all I'm going to use from now on. Tightlines!!!
  13. Great video. I'm famous now. Who wants my autograph? ;D
  14. That one bottom 8ft board actually curves away from the the bottom of the boat leaving a 2 inch gap. It also sags a little in between the two mounts. The right bottom board is completely flush to the bottom of the boat.
  15. Hmmmmm. It's just crazy how it ended up looking like the original one that came with the Trailer. I guess I could set some new pressue treated boards out in the sun to dry out first.
  16. Well, my trailer axle is fixed now. But now I noticed issues with my running boards. I have a single axle Tracker Trailor for my Tracker Pro V16 boat. I recently replaced all my bunk boards with pressure treated wood and carpeted them most excellently. Before I took the old two 8Ft bottom running boards off, I noticed the right side was straight as an arrow, while the left side was sagging a little in the center, and the front 6 inches was curved down a couple of inches. The left side was straight as an arrow after I finished all the work, and now it has reverted back to what the old one was doing. It looks retarded, and I'm disappointed. I like my boat and Trailer to look just right. Does anybody got a clue about this issue?
  17. Thanks for all the info. And thanks way2slow. An "oldtimers" alignment shop here in town said that happens all the time. He said $65 and It will be good as new. And I'll be adding two brand new radials. Tightlines!!!!
  18. I should have said carbs or injectors. Anyway, once cleaned, the Sta-Bil will stop the gumming from happining again.
  19. The carbs might be gummed up. Mine used to idle fine, but would die when I tried to back it off the trailer. I had to pay $300 to get the carbs cleaned. You might be able to spray and clean them out yourself. I permanently keep Sta-Bil in my gas now.
  20. Just make sure you tilt the motor up some before you drive it on the trailer.
  21. Yep. I just heard that today. One of my friends said that I can put in a heavier duty axle also. I'm also going to take it to a boat dealer so they can tell me if I have the right trailer for my boat.
  22. Yep. Those Rubbermaids will not last very long. They'll get brittle and crack. Add up what it will cost you with the cooler, pump, hoses and all the other parts, and the Toho will probably be a better way to go.
  23. Yep. That's the best way to do it. Let the roller guides/runners do their job.
  24. I do. Over-pressure will make the center wear out first. Under-pressure will make the outer edges on both sides wear out. Mine wears out on the inside only. The axle does not look bent. I heard one suggest that the boat might be too heavy for the trailer.
