  1. Did you watch it on the phishing channel? ???
  2. If you can’t find them locally McMaster Carr has them.
  3. I just went and looked, I remembered DVRing a few episodes. I was about 2 guys in a tin boat that were hacking their way though the tulies to get into remote backwaters to fish. It was based somewhere on the lower Colorado River basin.
  4. Pretty sure it was called Dirty Missions.
  5. BigDave Look at the Trackers before you decide for sure. Last year I bought a Tracker Targa V18 WT with the Merc 150 4 stroke for just under 29k. The Pro Guide V175 runs right at 25k with the 115 merc. After a year of use I have zero complaints. Mine has 3 rod lockers, not sure about the v175 though. I looked hard at the V175 but ultimately decided the extra 4k just got a heck of a lot more boat.
  6. This is an interesting school of thought. What I'm getting from this is the added distance of the cast from mono vs. fluoro is of greater value than the fact that mono floats and fluoro sinks, in regards to getting the crankbaits deeper. Correct?
  7. For you guy's that have used buoy's, in the wind, will the buoy keep unspooling and drift away from the weight?
  8. I have used rivets to replace screws that loosen up on boats before. Depends on the application, but they don't back out.
  9. That's good looking jerky. How long do you dry it in the oven and at what temp?
  10. Another option to the pressure treated wood might be using a microlam. You would probably have to rip it to the right width but they are incredibly strong and with the glue they use they should last a long time too.

  12. My son bought a 7-0 M-C about 2 weeks ago. He really liked it and so did I even thought I just tossed baits around in the yard with it, I never got to fish with it. It ended up getting broken last week (long story) so I called customer service and they said they would sell me another at 1/2 price. I thought since that was such a generous offer and I was in the market for a spinning rod anyway I would try one of theirs, so I ordered one yesterday. What little I"ve used their rods I was really impressed and their customer service is outstanding. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
  13. Does Yo-Zuri Hybrid sink?
  14. I just got one of these rods in a 7'0" with a curado 51E. I haven't used it for throwing cranks yet, but it really shines for throwing 1/8 oz. jigs. They are a really sweet rod.
