Well, i caught my first bass on a spinner lure! It was the only bite/catch i had, but it's a step in the right direction! I now know i can catch a bass with a lure!
My goal is to learn how to bass fish. I've only ever fished worm and bobber or sinker. I bought a curado 200e7 some spinner baits, buzzbaits, rattle baits and lipped baits. I've never fished with any of these baits. My goal is to become compitant enough to catch me some bass...for fun and good eats
I live in Bullitt County. The closest lake to me is probably Taylorsville Lake. I've only fished worm and bobber out there. This is the first "season?" I'll be having a go with spinners and crankbaits. I have not had much luck with worm/bobber at Taylorsville...not sure what the bass fishing is like out there. Anyone out there know? Nolin Lake and Rough River Lake are about the same distance from me I think, maybe 1 1/2 hour drive. I'm gonna head out that way some after school is out. I'm open to any tips and suggestions for fishing any of those three lakes. I just ordered a new baitcast reel. I'm looking forward to learning how to use it before getting to the lakes.
