Last year while fishing a local pond in the spring I caught several bass that had leeches in there mouth,big leeches.So I thought I would start off this spring with a similar pattern.I purchased Berkley Gulp's 5" Jumbo Leech in Black and black/olive.Matched with a 1/32 oz black bullet wt.and a small owner hook to match and owe man this has been deadly for me.The motion is real slow and life like but the only down fall is I have to use lighter line then I would like to in heavy cover.Even in colder water the slower motion seems to be to much for the bucket mouths to handle right now.I am excited for the rest of Spring because of this new set up for me.So what is your new go to bait for this spring?
