  1. I only use the 2 hook versions, mostly LC or Yo Zuri to avoid this.
  2. I have a few of the newer PQ reels. It has dual brakes. Best to have 2 centrifugal breaks on or 3 if windy and add a little mag breaks. No need for a SV type spool on them.
  3. I still have some Sunline Defier around it's the best.
  4. Just use a small grub.
  5. I like the spinnerbaits that have the built in trailer skirt .
  6. Like @Bigbox99 referred to, look at inshore baitcasters and you can find what you want.
  7. Daiwa makes reels all over Asia, Shimano either in their Malaysian factory or Japan
  8. My best jerkbait is a LC Silent Pointer so I'm going with no rattles is better.
  9. I wouldn't buy them, I'm not helping our chief global competitor anymore than possible, I always look to see where something is made before I buy it not just fishing stuff, if I can at all avoid "made in China" that's what I do higher price tag or not.
  10. 4.5/5" hollow bellies I use just a 7' MHF St Croix Premier with Daiwa Fuego 6.3 reel and 17lb Defier mono. Nothing fancy needed for these type swimbaits.
  11. Xcalibur lipless cranks Rapala DT Thug
  12. X2 on Xcalibur One Knock, the Booyah replacement doesn't seem the same, I did catch a nice bass on Eagle Creek Reservoir with the Yo Zuri one recently so that might be the new go to.
  13. I'm from Indiana and sent to DVT in the past, no problems and fair pricing.
  14. I have both reels I like the SLX A better, but it's just personal preference. Is there an XT A out yet? If so that might be the ticket.
  15. Netbait Paca Craw is more effective for me than the Rage Craw in warm weather, and Zoom craw chunks in cold weather is better.
