Bluebasser86 was that guy and that friend that always had a spot in his boat! He wasnt discouraged on my skill level which was a spinner bait or a meps on a ugly stick spinning rod and a walmart reel i think a shakespear or a abu something cheap. first trip i learned how to throw a jerk bait then the next was a texas rig and before i knew it i was borrowing rods and tackle and building my own arsonal. it was all hand me down stuff and extras that he had. I learned how the cheap stuff was junk but worked and if you spend the money on quality epuipment it will last. We went on many trips and i always seemed to come home with some sort of knowledge that i didnt even realized i learned. if it wasnt for him I dont know what i would be doing or spending all my money on. But i thank him and he continues to share his the love of bass fishing with whome ever wants to learn. real quality guy Thanks Blue

adam and I went started the day off on fortscott going across the dam and down the west side and it was consistantly slow so we went to bourbon county cedar creek and adam has a nice ranger aluminum boat but it was even thick for it but did really good when we could make it to the shady bank and flip finess jigs in 6 or less feet of water. almost every cast. we ended up having to back off the bank and filipping thoses trees and it wasnt working so i was throwing a spinner bait and hitting schools of bait fish causing them to flip and about every three of four schools of those i would get one just no big ones. so we fished our way home stopping at big P and i was just so hot catching a few here and there fliping the weeds and we both lost good ones through out the day but for 1000 degrees out side it was what i was expecting.

Where are you thinking about going like what part of the lake that might help

Man haven't seen a fish like that come out of the mills in years. Grew up in excelsior fishing and sailing on that lake. That's before I knew what I know know. Can't wait to hit up crystal lakes and might consider the mills if they make girls like that.

I'd give it two weeks. But that's me. I had the itch too so id understand but out of two boats that that fish and know the lake we had nine and they had 3. It was such a nice day to be out

We'll I'm getting another swimbait rod and reel and that's already shipped but I was waning another rod and reel for either top water or another Texas rig combo idk But I'm with Ryan Clayton / bond Peter/ and a buddy Curt/ and coty Adam/ sizzle

About to make another order for a rod and reel and I think I'll almost be ready. But man I can't wait for this trip. Going to dread coming home that's for sure!

first one was on a jerkbait!

after going to the local pond yesterday that was iced over i went to it today to check it out and it was thaw so i played with some new toys and it worked out!

and im still keeping my humming bird ill just have two for the console

a 93 like clayton has and i got a 74 for the bow thats all i needed and i saved 300

just to try it i got the harbor junk tools and got one and tried and tried and never worked so now its in a box with all the paints some where in my house! spend the money dont waste it on "trying" becuase now if i want to try again i got to go spend the money all over again!
