  • About Me
I am a sophomore member of the Bass Fishing Team at Virginia Tech and plan to bass fish both recreationally and competitively through college and on. I have grown up fishing the coastal Southeast Virginia and Eastern North Carolina areas and my strengths tend to reflect this. I am very much a finesse fisherman and tend to lean more towards Texas rigs, Senkos, jigs, and the like before I'll throw a crank or swimbait. Versatility is by far my biggest problem and I'm working on fixin that now!

  1. thanks boss ill give that a try. and yes i am fishing the VT tournament haha. good luck to ya
  2. Thanks guys! I look forward to using these techniques in my tourney. I had a feeling that creek channels and secondary inlets would be my best options this time of year with anything that i could creep along the bottom like a jig or drop shot. I really appreciate the info guys! Thank you!
  3. I have never once fished SML in my life and i have a tournament there at the end of this month. Go figure haha. I plan on pre-fishing the two days before the tournament, but was hoping that I might be able to get a few tips on a general area or type of cover that would be productive. I've heard SML can be tough and this time of year its all about the jig. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys!
  4. Well price isn't too much of an issue. I fish on a collegiate bass team and get pretty good prices from our sponsors
  5. Tackle Warehouse has their line for sale right now

  7. I'm looking around for a good rod to fish shakey heads with this spring. Any suggestions? I'm definitely looking for a 7 foot spinning rod.
