You will be fine if you just stay with one coat. I think it alters suspending jerkbaits more than anything else. I try to put it on as thin as possible when I use epoxy

    Blue

that is what I do as well. I just transparent dark gray and then shoot the hi-lite blue over it. Keep in mind with this blue that you won't be able to see it good till you clearcoat the bait

  21. That is how alot of painters clearcoat their baits
  22. Awesome looking balsa cranks there
  23. How do you get that perfect honeycomb pattern painted on the lures?....minnow nets, mosquito nets, tule from fabric shop, etc. How many work hours would it take to paint a lure? Depends on the pattern. If you already have the lure basecoated then you can paint some simple patterns in 10-15 minutes....or on the other end of that.....a high detailed bluegill pattern....45 minutes to an hour Whats the easiest way to go about painting them?....airbrush/compressor setup is probably the easiest overall Are there any guides on where to begin?.... Don't know of any off hand but, you can always do what I did. Go to tackleunderground.com and reasearch, look at pics, and use the search function for questions you may have. Just grab some old baits and start practicing
  24. Nice work as always
