  1. I will start off with a 1/4 ounce and 3/8 ounce tied on. I'll go smaller or larger from there.
  2. Whatever clothes your wearing out on the ice, take a second pair.
  3. I have been using Yo-zuri Hybrid. I bought some Berkley Big Game, and I'm going to give that a try.

  5. Snow doesn't bother me. Its the ice.......
  6. On the water and right here on this forum!!!
  7. I throw a white, 1/2 ounce 99% of the time. The other 1% is usually black.
  8. I tend to throw alot of Rat-L-traps, Big-O's, and Minus-1's. If those don't work I'll start with plastics and jigs.
  9. I have been using finesse 4 inch or 6" worms. Lately I have been having very good luck with Zoom small tubes.
  10. I like purple/grape to start with. If that doesn't produce I'll move on to green or pumpkin colored plastics.
  11. If I have been skunked a few times then I will go after numbers. If I happen to catch a hawg then so be it. If I have been going after numbers for a while and feel comfortable with the technique and amount I am catching, then I will start looking for bigger bass.
  12. I may have not gotten a 5 pounder like I wanted, but I sure cleared out the dinks .
  13. I will stick with natural colors. I usually use black, blue, pumpkin, and some type of green color.
  14. Rat-l-trap.
  15. I would start off with a tube or a t-rigged plastic worm.
  16. I chose the one I have the most of, Zoom.
  17. Its the one I just hung up and lost. No question about it.
  18. I am going to shoot for a 5 pounder.
  19. Right now its Yo-Zuri, but I have been thinking about getting some Berkley Big-Game and trying it out.

I carry about six of them between 3/8 and 1/2 ounce. The colors are white, chart. and black.
  22. Never. With companies constantly trying to cut back and save costs, the rod you buy today may be completely different from the one you buy tomorrow.
  23. I try and match the skirt with the trailer, but the jig bite has been slow lately and I've been thinking about mixing up colors.
  24. I was fishing a t-rigged finesse worm in the weeds last year with light tackle, and when he hit I thought I had a 7 or 8 pound bass on. Turns out it was a muskie about as long as my leg. He came up out of the water like a missle and when I pointed the rod at him and gave him slack, he slung that poor plastic worm a good 50 feet.
