  1. Could be the Lazer eye spinners. Are the eyes on the spinner sort of pear shaped?
  2. Does anyone still use a bamboo cane pole?????
  3. Jigs, tubes, and plastic worms.
  4. The only plastics that I have ever had go bad were some with salt inside them. I think that moisture got in the bag and when the salt started to break down it ate up the plastic.
  5. You might try Mikesreelrepair.com. That sight has pretty many downloadable schematics for many different reels.
  6. I use the Abu Garcia oil on my four baitcasters and three spinning reels. I have never had a problem or noticed a problem with it.
  7. Welcome..
  8. Everything mentioned above including forgetting to run the line through the level wind of the reel before I ran it through the guides. It took me a while to figure out why my line was piling up on one side of the spool.
  9. You can get some really good deals when wal-mart cleans out their stock. The one by me recently had wave worms on sale for $1 a bag.
  10. Well said Avid! I agree! When I take my daughter, I usually don't fish so I can devote time to teaching her... And don't forget tons of pics with big smiles.
  11. I voted 5 to 10 feet. In many of the lakes that I fish that is mid range.
  12. I use the Zoom Ultravibe Craw on a t-rig and I have had pretty good luck with it. I use some of the other plastic craw baits as trailers.
  13. I use them t-rigged with small weight and a 2/0 hook.
  14. I think color is more important in the shallows where more sunlight can get through. In deeper water I usually stick to the darker color baits.
  15. Yep, that about sums it up for me too. Me three. Me four.
  16. Nice one!!!!!
  17. Another vote for Abu.
  18. I have two 5'-6" pistol grips that I use for casting crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and topwaters. I stick to the longer trigger rods for plastics and jigs.
  19. Yep. I recently put new line on both of my spinning reels. I overfilled both of them and had the line loose. I trailed about 100 feet of line off behind the boat on one of them, and the one I didn't got tangled. I ended up cutting about 1/2 the spool off because it got knotted. I have learned my lesson big time.
  20. As of yesterday it has become the Booyah Baby Boo with Zoom plastic pork chunks.
