  1. Usually just once a week. Two or more times a week if I'm off or if there is a holiday.
  2. When it was only the middle class home owners being effected the Gov't said that the economy would correct itself. Now that their friends are feeling it, the Gov't wants to hand out $$$$.
  3. Around $8 on a Spro Frog.
  4. Didn't that lake have a problem with a leak some years back??
  5. The only thing that I do not like about my Revo is the narrow spool. I prefer the wider spools.
  6. WELCOME ABOARD!!!
  7. A lipless crank in chrome/blue back color.
  8. Texas rigged plastic, and a weightless Texas rigged plastic.
  9. Started off small, throwing a Zoom Speedcraw. After about an hour I finally got a good bite and missed him. When I got the speedcraw in it was missing both pinchers. Switched over to a senko and got one pretty good bite, but I missed him too. I tossed the senko into the weeds and finally pulled out a dink about 2X as long as the senko. Around 8:00 AM, I put on a baby brush hog and pitched it between two brush piles with a hump in between them. I felt a weight and the line started moving toward the larger of the two brushpiles. That one went 4-01 and was the biggie of the day. Last fish of the day came on a white jig that I flipped into a hole in the hydrilla. He went 1-02 after I got him cleaned off. After that I called it a day.
  10. Looks like all of you guys had a good time. Way to go!!
  11. I like Wunderground.com . The forecasts are iffy, but the radar is updated every couple of minutes.
  12. I haven't heard about a kill around here this year, probably due to the cooler summer and all the rain we have been getting. The last two years have been a different story. Last Sept. there was a kill right after a heavy down pour in one of the county lakes that killed about 80% of the fish in the lake. A lot of 6,7,and 8 pound largemouth were found floating on the top. The smaller bass and the cat did better. During Aug. '06 there were two fish kills in the same lake that happened about three weeks apart. The crappie and cat did ok but again the big largemouth in the 5,6, and 7 pound range all died.
  13. I have always wondered how long one of these people would remain an animal lover if they were attacked by an animal like a bear or a shark.
  14. I'll start off with my trailer matching the jig. If that doesn't work I will start changing the trailer to try and get more contrast between the skirt and the trailer.
  15. This time of year you need to go big. Throw a rat.
  16. Mann's 1- and the Storm Sub-wart.
  17. Rat-l-traps and Cordell Super Spots are the only ones I ever use.
  18. I use weights on tubes, brush hogs, and worms. I go weightless for flukes and senkos in shallow water, and rig them with a heavy weight in deep water.
  19. I'll throw a 1/4 or 3/8 ounce jig around brush and timber if there is not a lot of weeds. If the growth is very heavy I'll throw a 1/8 ounce jig out as far as I can and swim it back.
  20. Kind of looks a little suprised doesn't he .
  21. Leo's right. A bass an hour isn't bad and your not getting skunked.
  22. Good to hear that she's doing good. I know from experience that cellulitis can be some bad news if it gets out of hand.
  23. You forgot to mention that if any of these are used with a stare, you might as well just pack it in.
  24. I use Big Game #15 on my casting and Big Game #10 on my spinning.
