  1. Barb on a treble went in between my left ring finger and my middle finger. It didn't bleed very much and it didn't hurt very bad. Tried to pull it back out and push it through but it wouldn't move, like it was stuck on something. Got down the the emergency room and the Dr. said that it was through a nerve. After they cut it out and the novacaine wore off it hurt like the devil.
  2. It's bigger than most of the ones I usually catch. So that puts the weight over 1 pound .
  3. Right now I would settle for the ice melting off the lakes.
  4. I use some spinners, but not as much as some people. I like the BPS 1/2 ounce lazer eye tandem Colorado blades in white or white/chart.
  5. Creme still makes both grape and purple worms. At least they still did last year when I ordered from them.
  6. Sitting at work when its in the 40's and 50's all week and then on the weekend a cold front comes through with the high temps in the 20's.
  7. In the past couple of years I have started fishing more with spinnerbaits. I use white or white/chart. with silver tandem blades. For me, I've found that the white works better in stained to muddy water and the white/chart works better in clear water.
  8. Probably a Big-O back in the early 70's.
  9. Hey look, no ice!!
  10. 2009: Finally broke the 6 lb. mark. Decade: Finally caught one over 5 lb. Learned how to fish a jig.
  11. The ones without rattles seem to work better for me, even in muddy water.
  12. I really don't have a favorite. I'll flip and pitch whatever I am using if its called for at the time.
  13. I have two of them, and I found them both. I haven't used them a whole lot. A jig works much better for me.
  14. Try going into an antivirus company's website, and check to see if your software will update. That is how I discovered that I had a virus on my pc. Also make sure that your video drivers are updated to work with the new browser.
  15. Jigs. I have been starting with 3/8 ounce and if I don't get anything after a couple of hours I scale it back to 1/8 ounce.
  16. I want to start throwing topwater baits earlier next year and not start at the end of summer like I did this year.
  17. Trailhead Red Amber Ale. Its made by a local micro-brewery.
  18. I have a 5000 roughly 15 yo, an 5600 C4 around 10 or 11 yo, and a 5600 C3 that is six yo. They get used for jigs, plastics, and spinnerbaits.
  19. Pliers, line cutters, screwdrivers, and a knife. This time of year I might throw in a flashlight depending on the time of day I head out.
  20. If you have boxes that will fit, you can try some stackable milk crates.
  21. There is a lake I fish that has a creek empty into it. The water is muddy all of the time, and worse when it rains. The best luck that I have is on a 3/8 or 1/2 ounce black jig with a big black trailer.
  22. T-Rig 99% of the time.
  23. It depends on what I am fishing for. I prefer to catch bass on artificial bait, but for panfish and cat I use live bait.
  24. I have several BPS rods. They are hard to beat for the price. I have also had two extreme reels. The first lasted about two months and the second lasted about 45 minutes before it quit. I will never buy another. Check with the Fishing Dept. manager and see if you can get your money back for the reel and keep the rod.
