  1. IMO its all about $$$. Cheaper to put on a little on both ends of the handle than run it the entire length.
  2. That is so cool, good job!!
  3. A couple of years ago I was going to park my car over at my Dad's place while we took his truck to the lake. So I'm backing into one side of his double driveway trying to make sure that I gave him enough room to pull out and turn when I hear a big BANG. While I was trying to give him enough room I forgot to look while backing up and ran into the garage door. I buckled that puppy pretty good.
  4. white 3/8 double blade spinnerbait. black/blue jig with a sapphire super chunk trailer. weightless senko or a knock off in junebug.
  5. I use to use a palomar knot for everything. This year I have started using an improved clinch knot for cranks and spinnerbaits.
  6. Congrats!!
  7. I like a 6'-6" med. spinning rig w/ a fast tip for fishing t-rigs. For C-rigs I go for a 6'-6" heavy with a baitcaster.
  8. I've been throwing Zoom tiny brush hogs and the BPS 3" stik-o.
  9. You got some nice ones!! Thanks for the pics.
  10. No snow here. Luckily we are only going to get severe thunderstorms that may spawn tornadoes and straight line winds maybe in excess of 70 mph .
  11. I usually get a real funny look when someone asks me what I am throwing and I tell them that its a Jitterbug.
  12. I have a 5'-6" pistol grip that I bought in '03 to fish off of the bank with. I have never had any issues with it.
  13. Landing it. You can lose a fish on the bite, hookset, or fight. When you've got that bass by the lip you know you did it all correctly.
  14. I have had good luck fishing around weeds with jigs and spinner baits. Plastics not so much.
  15. This is almost as bad as a curado vs. revo thead.
  16. Anyone using these? From the pic it sort of looks like a short senko.
  17. And don't forget the head lamp.
  18. A tiny paca chunk, or a Zoom tiny salty chunk. If those don't work I have a bag of old plastic worms that have gotten too beat up to use on t-rigs or c-rigs.
  19. I usually fish Zoom small tubes in green pumpkin, pumpkin, and junebug.
  20. You might try a weightless Zoom small tube. It won't sink at all if there is an air bubble inside it.
  21. Two weeks ago, while digging out a backlash, I somehow managed to get the line wrapped around my feet. Not only that, but I got the line tangled in my shoe strings, lost my balance, and almost fell in.
  22. A heavy jig or spinnerbait. I fish the side of the lake where the wind is hitting. I like to throw the bait right where the water is hitting the shore and drag it back into the water. Looks like something that got washed into the lake.
  23. I would try dragging a tube on the bottom and through the weeds.
  24. I use a 6'-0" rod with 6 lb mono. I like the heavier line just in case I catch a good size fish.
  25. I own two spinning reels. One I use for small finesse plastics, and the other I use for ultra light baits.
