That is a nice looking bass, good job.

Went out yesterday with my dad for about 7 hours and caught 35 lm bass. Got all but three of them on lipless 1/2 ounce baits. The two largest of the day were the 5-06 lb that my dad got, and the 1-03 lb that I boated. A 1/2 ounce rat-l-trap is about 3" long so I figure most of the bass that we caught were between 6 and 8 inches long. The lake was about 150 acres, but we just couldn't seem to get away from the little ones.

I'm still working on letting the bass go when they hit a frog. I tell myself to let the fish go and then I pull the frog right out of the water.

People that waste my time, and their own time, with stupid questions because they are in such a hurry that they just don't have time to read instructions.

That is a healthy looking bass. Good job.

People at work that like to hold meetings in the middle of the aisle instead of inside a conference room. Very educated book smart people without a lick of common sense, and think they know everything.

Something else to consider. How many people were actually going out and serious about catching a 5+ pounder vs. just going out to drown worms.

Around these parts a fish like that is called a lunker.

I restock as needed.

A tunnel with a 6" clearance would work too.

Zoom big salty chunks when the water is cool. Zoom super chunks when the water warms up.

I find that in cool weather it is a little stiff at first. After a couple of casts it usually limbers up.

I like to use my round Abu's for cranks, spinner baits, heavy jigs, and c-rigs.
