  4. I put at least 15 lb. on all of my baitcasters. 10 lb. and less go on the spinning reels.
  5. IMHO, if the bass thinks that the bait can be swallowed the bass will probably try and eat it, no matter what the size the bait is.

  9. When I tie a palomar I always give it a couple of good pulls before I start throwing the bait. Sometimes you can look at the knot and just tell if it will hold.
  10. Yo-Zuri and Big Game. All baitcasters have 15 lb. The spinning reel has 10 lb. The ultralite has 6 lb.
  11. I go by how the rig is balanced and how it feels. If I put a reel on a rod and it feels bottom or top heavy, I switch the reel to a different rod.

  14. I saw someone fish this way years ago on an old fishing show. It was probably back in the early 70's.

  24. I agree with an earlier post about fishing in public lakes. I would like to see if one of these pros could catch his limit in a heavily pressured lake that get hit close to 24/7.
