  1. You can use any plastic in your tackle box as a trailer. By changing the trailer you can give the jig a whole new appearance. I will tie on a new jig only after I have tried 4 or 5 different plastics as trailers.
  2. I have seen several people using these things on the lakes that I fish. The bass were not touching it. This is pretty much like everything else that comes out. When it's new everyone will be using it, but after a while people will go back to what they have confidence in.
  3. you can get burned buying something from the store just as easily. Always check to see what the return policy says before you buy something.
  4. That is one good looking bass.
  5. That's a nice bass. He did a good job.
  6. I usually get on the water sometime between 5 and 6 AM. Sometimes the bass are awake then and sometimes they aren't.
  7. My fav is a big black Jitterbug.
  8. I voted for 3 musketeers, but I love them all.
  9. My advice would be to call in a professional to see what they say about it, and go from there.
  10. For me, I would choose the Curado.
  11. When I use them its a single blade.
  12. I will repeat what already has been said. No one can answer this but you. But a lot depends on the woman. If she is right for you, you will change your mind in a hurry.
  13. Hope everything gets repaired quickly and correctly.
  14. Usually four. One for jigs, weightless plastics, and a t-rig. I will have one with a crankbait or spinnerbait tied on, but I may or may not use it.
  15. Nice bass, congrats!!
  16. What a hawg!!
  17. Is the ramp close to the homeowners? It could be that they have had the ramp so close to them for so long they are just assuming that it is private.
  18. The avg. size around here is 1 to 2 pounds. Any bass in the 3 or 4 pound range is camera time, and anything 5 pounds or over is something to call home about.
  19. Jigs with some kind of matching trailer.
  20. Sounds like you had a great day.
  21. We went out Saturday morning before it got hot. I had a jitterbug tied on but the lake we were on looked like it was starting to weed up so I put on a green bronzeye. I had been casting into the slop for about 10 min. when one finally took it. It was a dink, but it had both hooks in its mouth. I had three more hits, but missed all of them. I think that I was so wired from the first bass that I started pulling too quick on the other bites.
  22. Right now its a chrome w/ blue back Cordell super spot.
  23. Years ago I used to have a malibu classic. One day I was replacing the wiper motor, and I noticed something furry in the front around the fan. Turned out that the neighbor's cat had come in while I had the garage open and decided to take a nap up in the motor. Luckily we were able to get the cat out in one piece and without injury.
