  1. Work and family right now.
  2. Penn State had a responsibility to protect the students that went there, and they failed to do that. Not only did they fail, but it appears that once they found out about Sandusky they attempted to cover it up to keep the $$$$ coming in. Penn State's penalty was not enough.
  3. Great. Looks like you had a good time.
  4. With the drought we are having the water levels in the lakes around here are going way down. I am finding a lot of cranks in timber that use to be under water.
  5. WTG! Those are some nice looking bass.
  6. I keep all of my old cranks. If the plastics are not too beat up I will use them as jig trailers. When they get to torn up to be used as trailers I pitch them.
  7. I've only gotten a hook in my hand once, but it was enough. I tried the trick where you wrap the line around the hook and pull, and the one where you push the barb through. That sucker was in me good. Went down to the ER and the Dr. had to cut it out of me. Turned out that the barb had speared a nerve and was hung up on it. I would have never gotten that hook out myself.
  8. Try throwing a weightless senko in the middle and letting it sink through the school.
  9. I have been doing good in clear water using 1/8 oz. bitsy bugs. Blue/black has been working the best.
  10. Same here. I can remember being glued in front of the tube watching the Olympics when I was a kid. Now I might watch a little while seeing what else is on.
  11. I like to throw a heavy jig to keep it on the bottom. I would keep experimenting with plastic trailer until you find one they like.
  12. Are you sure it was a bass that hit it?
  13. Jitterbugs are my favorite, but this year I have had better luck with a spro frog in the slop.
  14. I love the bitsy bugs in the 1/8 ounce size. I usually use a super chuck jr. and just let it drop to the bottom on its own. When its hits bottom I like to work it just like a 3/8 or 1/2 oz. jig. They work great in heavy weeds also. That smaller size lets you pull through the weeds easier.
  15. Usually around 6 or 7 hours.
  16. Sometime I will fall asleep on the couch, but it's only for a couple of minutes. I have to stay away from the lazy-boy, as soon as I sit down in that I am out like a light.
  17. Another vote here for the baby. I get more bites on the baby than the original.
  18. That bass is huge! Do you know what it has been feeding on?
  19. Your dead sticking a c-rig on the bottom, and you doze off. I almost fell out of the seat. First time that ever happened while bass fishing, and I'm thinking that the heat may have played a part in it.
  20. Topwater fishing and you think that the lure is out farther than it really is. A strike comes and for a second your heart stops.
  21. I usually wear whatever I pull out of the drawer. Sometimes its a bright color and sometimes it is a gray, or natural color.
  22. Nice Ones!!
  23. Yep. People lose rods and reels all the time. Sometimes in shallow water you can get them back, but when the water is deep and murky......
  24. WTG! Congrats on hitting the 5 lb mark!
