  1. I would try using a heavier jig. Maybe one that is at least 3/8 ounce.
  2. I have had them hit plastic worms, rat-l-traps, and 1- minus cranks.
  3. Spinnerbait. Those treble hooks on a trap will just snag.
  4. Never use them. If I buy a jig with rattles I usually remove them.
  5. My favorite is a jig. My most productive would probably be a rat-l-trap or a 1- minus in shallow water.
  6. Does your GF like to fish???
  7. Wow that was cool! They talk about a mouth on a shark!
  8. Holy Cow! That is a nice bass.
  9. At least you caught something and didn't get skunked.
  10. Abu 5600 C4 on a 6-1/2 med. heavy rod w/ a fast tip. I have 15 lb big game loaded on the reel.
  11. Never heard about this one. I'm suprised it hasn't been on TV.
  12. And with the construction down at the ball park going ahead it will probably cost more.
  13. Nice bass you caught.
  14. I will either use a 2/0 or a 3/0 size EWG hook.
  15. Nice bass you caught.
  16. Just turned 11.
  17. I like to drop a jig or a t-rigged tube straight down right along side a standing tree. It kind of looks like something fell off of the tree and is sinking in the water.
  18. If the water is 5 to 10 feet or so I like to throw it out weightless and just let it sink down to the bottom. Sometimes I will twitch it all the way back in, and sometimes I will just dead stick it for a while and move it slightly. You have to let the fish tell you what they want.
  19. We picked up some night crawlers and headed over to a sub division lake. The last time we went we stayed about two hours and she started to get tired. This time we stayed four hours and she caught a bunch of sunfish, bluegill, and warmouth. She really enjoyed herself, and has told everyone how she caught more than me.
  20. Nice Bass.
  21. Take a paddle in the boat with you to use when you are in the middle of a weed bed. Number one it won't scare the fish like a motor will, and number two, you don't want that stuff wrapped around your prop.
  22. I use to love it when it first came on. When the original cast left it went downhill and I don't think that it ever really recovered.
  23. Its too early in the morning for me to post a smarta@@ comment.
  24. I have seen two fish kills in different lakes when the water was low, and both of them were right after a heavy rain. Really makes you sad to see all of those fish belly up.
