  2. i agree with that but sadly there is no bps around my house so i can only order online where im not able to talk to customer
  3. well from what i could understand of that, you should be fine with worms
  4. i see no real problem with bowfishing for carp as long as it doesn't go to waste. i've tried it and it is fun. but one thing that really urks me is people who bowfish for alligator gar, which are practically extinct in america because of unethical fishing practices and ignorant people.
  5. when theyre that big it doesn't hurt enough to matter
  6. i have one. only use it in ponds though
  7. well what you might have saw is something i see everyday at my lake. schools of bass will corall a huge section of baitffish around the middle of the lake then chase them towards the surface to trap them. often you'll see the baitfish jumping out of the water to get away from the bass
  8. don't worry the main money is going into a savings account for college. but since my bike was destroyed im getting a decent amount for it now, which im allowed to spend on what i want
  9. im going to come into some money soon and i'm wondering what things i should get. i got hit by car and have a broken back so i should have a decent amount of settlement money. im trying to compile a list of all the bass gear i need. what would you get if you were in my position
  10. topwater- lighter briad (30-50) shallow cranking- fluoro for its abrasion resistance deep cranking- fluoro because it allows the crank to go deeper
  11. oh boy are you in for a treat!! considering the size of lake george (big) it gets surprisingly little fihing presure. lake george is known as one of the top fishing spots in ny. on a good day you could get 20-30 fish easy. since its deep, rocky, weedy and has just about every type of cover known to man many tactics work. jigs, senkos, 3.5in yum money minnows, lizards, tubes, and grubs are all great their. smallmouth are plentiful their and im sure you'll be shocked as to how strong they fight. if you don't know how to fish a dropshot you should for this lake. bass por, tackle warehouse, cabelas and gander mountain are all reliable and have all the lures i listed. remember to study northern forage because it is slightly different than down south.
  12. i was scanning basspro.com for a new reel when i came across a reel that i had never seen before. its the RCX power fishing baitcaster and their is a rod to match it. my question is, is it new or have i never seen it before and how well does it preform.
  13. i use either 12 lb trilene fluorocarbon or 10-12lb stren fluorocarbon
  14. i use the yum wooly bug and the only durability problem is the hook tearing through the middle but ive never had the claws fall off
  15. i live in eastern new york and my favorite color has always been arkansas shiner
  16. i did on youtube and i cant tell how its different than a wacky rig. am i missing something?
  17. ha i was thinking the same thing.
  18. underaurmour t-shirt and a pair of nike shorts and my air jordan shoes. i know it sounds like im going to play basketball but its the coolest clothing ive found
  19. isn't just a wacky rig?
  20. from the stuff ive heard about it i want to use it like crazy but im a known bait monkey addict so its anyones guess how good it is.
  21. i use two nail weights for my swimbait. i stick on into the swimbait on each side right across from the hook. this way i dont have to get weighted swimbait hooks. plus it makes the bait fall a bit more naturally
  22. definitly a golden shiner. i use them on lake tohopekaliga when i go down to Florida
  23. use yum f2. its water based so all of it spreads throughout the water column instead of just leaving an oil slick on the surface
  24. i caught one on a 5inch zoom fat albert grub and that sort of counts as a worm
  25. i was thinking about that but i mainly need to decide on the line. i was using artificials and catching 1-4 lb bass when i was five or six but then i had already fished for about 4-5 years
