  1. I would have to say it's a tie between 10" Worms and the Jig w/ the Jig coming on strong as of late.
  2. Hmmmmmmmmm....... : Round up "Posse"!!!!!!!!
  3. Good to hear!!! Have fun while I sit up here in this ice storm.
  4. Gamma Copolymer. I tried it last year on an experiment basis on one of my rigs. I had no problems with Yo-Zuri I just wanted to try something else. I like it a lot and it's a step above Yo-Zuri across the board. It is VERY strong and knew it over-tested but I could never find info about. Finally the info is published in the New Master Fishing Catalog from Cabela's. They have also added new colors. It is now on ALL my rigs.
  5. Thank You. Good thing I asked. :
  6. Anybody have any tips on straightening bulk bought senkos??? They have been crammed into bags and probably set in a cold truck for the last few days and some of then are crooked. I was thinking to maybe boil them a little??
  7. I don't submerge my trailer so that should help a bit I would think. I just back it down so the wheels are about the waters edge and then I push the boat off the back with the gear already in it. Park the car and I'm ready to go. And I would also like to "solve" my problem the way you did, but right now that's just not feasible for me . Maybe in another year or so. Thanks guys. I just needed a little reassurance as I said before. I have put in my order for the hitch.
  8. I hit my 2 year anniversary yesterday.
  9. Crap!!!!! I sent it to Craig Baugher. :-? Was that wrong????
  10. I have used the Chompers DT Hula Grubs on football jigheads and as jig trailers. That's the only bait I have used and have no complaints ...... well maybe one. Some people may like it, but I really don't care for it. The particular baits I use smell like garlic and it's VERY STRONG. I almost dread each time I have to open the bag.
  11. Aaaaannnnnnndddddd what's that suppose to mean?? : ;D
  12. Gamma Copolymer I was using Yo-Zuri Hybrid most of last year on just about all my rigs (also an excellent option). I read/heard some good things about Gamma so I gave it a try on a test basis on one of my rigs. I like experimenting with different equipment. LOVED IT!!!! It seemed to cast a little better than the Yo-Zuri and was a little tougher and is also VERY strong. Both Yo-Zuri Hybrid and and the Gamma Copolymer overtest their ratings with the Gamma being slightly stronger. This year I am going pure Gamma.
  13. That's my only gripe. I am going to swap it out with a Chronarch 50 Mg handle though
  14. Are you seriously asking me this question??? ...... Of course not!!!!! ;D But who has also had one of those days you wake up and think to yourself, man do I really want to go out there?? The conditions aren't that great?? It's too cold or it's too hot or the wind is out of the wrong direction or there's a chance of rain or it's raining, etc, etc, etc. ....... But you decide to "suck it up" and head out and it turns out to be a memorable trip. Seems like this happens yearly to me. That's what makes fishing .... fishing. Can't catch'em if your line is not in the water.
  15. From what I have read you will be very happy with either one. As a Shimano Posse member I got the Scorpion 1000 Mg a couple months ago and have been VERY pleased. Ginrinpeche on Ebay has some unbeatable prices on both of them.
  16. Thanks guys. I thought it would be alright, I just needed a little reassurance. Now for the driving in OD??? My cars is a manual, so does that mean not driving in 5th gear on the highway (flat)?? I thought that was just for automatics because of the constant upshifting and downshifting?? BTW - HPBB, that's a good idea. I'll use that. That is the only thing I am real worried about with this whole thing.
  17. You gotta do what you gotta do. I am sick of being able to go fishing at the availability of my dad's truck. Especially in the spring when he does a lot of traveling. In the past it wasn't so bad because I was pretty busy with school and the only time I really had the time to go was on weekends, but this semester should be a pretty easy cake walk and I should have quite a bit of free time. So of course I would like to as much fishing as possible especially this spring. So the last few weeks I have contemplated putting a hitch on my '92 Honda Accord. Now I know this is not the ideal tow vehicle, but it's what I have at the moment and I am only towing a utility trailer and two man boat. I estimate that the total weight of the "rig" is around 700 to 800 lbs with all the gear. I have found conflicting information on the internet and the towing capacity of my car is either 1000 or 1500 lbs so my "rig" should be with in the limits. So, can this be done safely?? My lakes I fish are approximately 20 to 40 miles away on fairly flat ground. My biggest concern is the boat ramp. Any tips?? My car is also a manual if that makes any difference. Here's what I will be towing:
  18. I don't see a problem with your name. Now if underneath your name you had "I love me some me" embroidered, I would think a little differently. ;D
  19. Yeah I understand. Just thought that if they will cover somebody slamming it in the car door that this wouldn't be any different. Don't you think they would be more apt to send you the blank?? That is really what you want isn't it?? Good Luck!!! ..... and from what I hear I wouldn't at all be suprised if they take care of you.
  20. Sorry to hear that Matt. It always sucks to move away from family ........ and a lake like Fork. Good luck with the move.
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the GLommis Xpeditor service cover that?? I thought they cover it ALL??
  22. St. Croix Premier, Shimano Compre MH, fast tip I've used both and prefer the Premier
  23. Boy am I sick of hearing that. ;D ;D ;D What a DISGUSTING performance on Saturday.
