  1. I must admit I got a good chuckle at that. Pretty clever. ;D ;D But not this year. One hour til game time. On to the Final Four. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!!
  2. I have the 6'8" Xfast in the Legend Tounrey. I have only been fishing three times so far this year with it, but so far it's PERFECT. Exactly what I was looking for. I tend to prefer slightly stouter rods than most people it seems like. With this rod you get the great castability of a medium rod and your still able to get some "jazz" behind hooksets. This rod is now my finesse plastics rod.
  3. Atta Baby!!!!!
  4. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!! ;D Couldn't sleep tonight. Messed around with Photoshop and this is the outcome
  5. Not Ricky!!!!! He bent over backwards for us when I was there. (assuming the boat rental) Glad to hear like things ran smoothly.
  6. I am not doubting the above info, but if this was a HUGE problem wouldn't you hear more about it??
  7. The way he was found is what does it for me. There is a difference between "legally drunk" and WASTED. He was WASTED. So irresponsible.
  8. Should I seal it just to be on the safe side or are there any negative side effects with doing that??
  9. I got a very small scuff on my Scorpion MG today. I think I have read that you should protect the scratches you get on these reels. True?? If so with what? Clear fingernail polish?? Thanks
  10. Wow!! That is great. I had a very pleasant experience with them this winter. Sometime during December they had a 25% any rod sale in their Kansas City store. They didn't have the exact model rod I wanted in-stock so one their workers told me to just go ahead and buy the "wrong" rod in the same line (so I could get the 25% discount) and swap them out later when they got the specific model in stock. A month went buy and several trips to the store and they still didn't have the exact rod I wanted. Finally I asked one of the workers in the fishing department and he looked it up in the computer and informed me it didn't look like that particular store carried the rod and told me to contact their customer service #. Did that and explained the situation. With in a week they sent me a mailing label so I could ship my rod back to the distribution center free of shipping cost. Did that and with in a week I had the correct rod in my hands. I didn't have to pay a dime for shipping either way.
  11. My estimate put it at about 25". A beast no doubt. Sorry about the fish, but cool pic.
  12. Come on man ..... details Nice catchn'
  13. So wouldn't that make you 70% Dixie : The only time I have heard bubbler was from a high school buddy that was originally from Wisconsin. He said lots of weird stuff ;D
  14. Very nice. Good looking lake there too.
  15. I bet whatever the posted speed limit was. ;D ;D ;D beautiful ride!!!!!!!
  16. Texas hurt me yesterday
  17. You Cali guys are on fire.
  18. When you get older you will see it can be helpful. I don't have an account as of now, but a lot of my friends do. Through them, we have been able to keep in touch with people we went to high school with.
  19. Man, I truly feel for him. That just plain sucks!!!!!!
  20. Very Nice What's the mark you are shooting for that WR??
  21. Yeah, their clear is the clearest clear if that makes since : ;D I have the green spooled up now on a couple reels. Only fished twice so far and I like it a tad better. Still seems to be a little more difficult to see than other lines.
  22. I can. I started using it last summer and it is my new favorite line. It's strong, manageable, and fairly tough. I am now using it on all my reels except my braid set-up. I have no experience with it on spinning gear, but I don't think it would be a problem. I am however using 6 lbs on my finesse baitcaster with no problems.
