  1. I'll still watch him over just about anybody else.
  2. d**n. I wish I would have bought it now
  3. I saw my first one in the wild ever a couple weeks ago. What a sight!!!

  5. That's one of those lakes that everytime I fish it I think to myself why I don't fish it more. Such a pretty lake. Last time was in 07 I think. :
  6. Went extremely smooth and it worked on the first try!!! Only thing I didn't replace were the side clearance lights. I didn't like the way the ones I got fit. Going to have to see if I can find a fairly low profile approx 3x4 LED.
  7. It is already wired, but there are some things that bug me. I just bought the boat earlier summer. The wires near the connector are taped up and look like hell. Bugs the s#$t out of me. Just got back from the lake. Have the LED lights and wiring kit and an afternoon project. Hope to be ready to go by tomorrow morning.
  8. Yeah I think you guys have talked me into pushing this off and do it bit by bit over the next week. Actually maybe 2 weeks. I am off a couple days midweek next week. Don't want to waste a good day of fishing!!! I can see this being one of those things that when just thinking about it, it seems like a piece of cake. But then in actuality taking a full day.
  9. Thinking about switching to LEDs. How tough of project is it to re-wire and how much time should I time should I expect to take? Like could I do it in a couple hours after work to be ready to go Saturday am?
  10. I am giving it a go. Have the newest episode on the DVR to watch tonight. On a side note, the first episode of Big Bang Theory was perhaps the hardest I have ever laughed at a TV show. I just lost it when the walked into the ER.
  11. Citrus Cooler Gatorade ... R.I.P. :'(
  12. $5000 worth of computer/electronic stuff from tiger direct. Refunded in 48 hours.
  13. Quite possibly
  14. And how has Garnder been? I used to go out there all the time 5-6 years ago. Seems like fishing was awesome at the beginning of that time and started slowly but surely declining over the next few years. Then about 3 years ago I believe I went out there during the spawn and saw very very few beds. I don't know about you, but that's how I kind of gauge the type of population that lake has. I stopped going. Then come to find out I met a guy at a wedding this summer that said the largemouth bass virus hit that lake hard. Made sense from what I had seen over the past few years. Making a comeback?
  15. I kind of feel light headed after watching that. Wow!!! Why the helmets? lol
  16. Kind of makes you feel all alone, but in a good way. Fishing was just descent, but constant. All in all probably the most enjoyable day on the water this year.
  17. For whatever is worth I ended up getting Maxxis tires. Whole situation was totally my fault. I just bought this boat earlier this spring. Noticed trip before last the tires were starting to show some small "flakes". Told myself they could last a couple more weeks of short trips. Wouldnt be surprised if they were the original tires circa 1995. The previous original owner basically lived right down the street from the lake. Lesson learned.
  18. KC needed this bad. A lot of hype surrounding this game for quite a while. Hope we can hang on. More like we are playing not to lose now .... which is scary.
  19. Feel a lot better after week 2 than week 1
  20. Had a tire blowout and are shopping news ones. What do you all like? I am kind of leaning towards these just because of convenience. Anyone have anything to say about these. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=1PIHYVXKGLT0NLAQBBJCCNNMCAEFAIWE?id=0064194020418a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=trailer+tires&sort=all&Go.y=0&N=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&Go.x=0 I am all ears!!! Thanks
  21. If you have the money, time, and want to .... sure why not. Probably catch some flack for this, but personally with the economy the way it is right now .... I think college is one of the biggest scams going right now. Don't get me wrong, I think college is a necessity for those who know what they want to do. But I am willing to bet, way more people in college have no clue what they want to do after graduation as do know. It is becoming a big problem. Kids going through college with no clue what they want do that are only there because that's what they are told they "have" to do.
  22. Yes there is a small removable platform that covers the livewell and bilge pumps. There is room to "screw" one battery tray down there and still have relatively easy access to the bilge pump. The other two are going to have to sit on the back corners of the actual hull. Like mentioned I am very hesitant to put short enough screws as I would feel comfortable as to not go through the hull. Then I would not be comfortable enough in those short screws to have enough bite to hold down a size 29 battery. The more and more I think about this the only viable option is to glue them down. I would love to know if the previous owner "upgraded" the gas tank. It has a 33 gallon!!!! tank in an 18.5 foot 115 hp boat. It really tightens things up back there. I will see if I can get a pic. Right now its pushing 100 degrees, the boats covered up, and the AC is feeling pretty good. :
  23. The rear compartment of my boat is really tight. The guy that had the boat before me did not use anything to secure the batteries. That is not sitting well with me. Problem is the only place to really secure the trays would be into the hull. I am a bit hesitant to put screws into that. I am thinking about using some 3M 5200 to glue them down. Thoughts? Ideas?
  24. Good to know. I am a bit of a novice at this and I couldn't find any info out there about mixing. Thanks. It is a 3 bank charger.
