  1. Sounds more like what single men are chasing after
  2. Don't be afraid to ask him what he expects from you.
  3. You don't have I go full size, there is toro winch's, curado 300's, etc
  4. The cherrywood combo was $40 at DSG, thy were bein clearances out last time I've been in a couple stores The premiers runs around $100 but they can handle almost everything, I still use the 5' with a cheap sienna reel. Croix make them in 6' and 6'6 one piece as well, though I never had a problem with my 2 piece 7' avid
  5. I feel like, just as any lure, have a time and place for using them. Open water and above the weed line are good starts. As for colors you can imitate the bait fish.
  6. I used a cherrywood/abu combo that's around 5' fast action UL that held it's own with 14in trout, haven't tried any bass with it. I use all croix UL's and have no problem with bringing in fish in the 4lb range. I prefer 7' for a better fight. Reels in the 100/1000 size with 4-6lb line should be fine, the use of the drag is important.
  7. Almost anything in the $100-220 range will be good
  8. Speaking if cheatriots, how do you lose when your up 24-0 at halftime? Oh yeah spygating
  9. Here's a vid of the NX882 I found the pics of that boat, it looks good, couldn't find the skeeters though.
  10. Here it is retracted
  11. It's an adjustable slide bracket, you can move it 6" so the unit is out of the way. The terrova really sticks out and can smack against the bow roller or anything close by. It saved my butt more times than I can count getting in and out of certain waters
  12. I can be, but not like a nut. I wouldn't throw batteries at santa cause my team was losing.
  13. Big fan of the white tritions Pick up a MKA-47 bracket for the terrova
  14. Those carpets don't look bad at all, seats are ripped beyond repair. If the guys want to sell their boats they better get them ready to run so you can test them.
  15. I have this weird feeling of deja vu
  16. Look out for the skeeter trailer, I've seen some (think they were ezloader) really messed up ones when I was looking for boats, some even had split/cracked rims because they mixed different alloys. Getting a new trailer could be as bad as getting a repower. How's the wear on the nitro?
  17. When you were gone we all voted for it to disappear http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/127468-was-the-site-down/
  18. What kind of rod does he have already? what does he fish with? How old is your nephew? Has he ever tried a spinning reel? I think the biggest don't in buying a reel is choosing the correct size for the application you're using it for, that will depend on what you target and what size line you use.
  19. Looks to be in the minnow family, maybe a fallfish
  20. That's a lot of smallies over 5lbs, no small feat for sure. Excellent numbers
  21. Depends on what size line you'll use. Between the 2500 and 3000 is 20yds in 10b mono. If you use 20lb braid it'll hold a full power pro spool
  22. I wonder if this included creeks and streams
  23. I use a 12lb co-poly or cheap fluro.
