  1. I agree, though I also believe there is no way possible it would be more beneficial to take a baby out of a carrier when retreating.
  2. Going cheap on a reel and use fluorocarbon? Sedona or Cardinal SX are both nice...
  3. Same here, I cleared out their subwoofers
  4. If you have a scale you should always have it checked for accuracy. It's not hard and you don't need to buy a scale weight set, you can go to any grocery store and confirm produce on their scale then go home and place it in a plastic shopping bag and check your scale. You can also find work out weights and have them checked for accuracy (2,5,10lbs) and keep those as a way to check your scales every week or any time you drop or impact your scale.
  5. On the high end, Shimano Crucial is hard to beat, it's also at the high end. A good middle ground is the Veritas and ***. You body's own sensitivity will play a huge part on how you manage the feeling from the rod. The line you choose also makes a difference. This would seem legit if you didn't have a sponsor shirt with daiwa on it
  6. Welcome back! You were missed
  7. You been told before if you keep playing with it, it'll break
  8. Looks like the handles are mushy and it has a lot of boat rash, still $70 is a deal.
  9. No spoilers, I'm traveling cross country
  10. You never hopped into a friends car and got driven somewhere? **** happens and shows you can't control every situation.
  11. I like this answer, my 9's a southern 18
  12. He was a fine actor, RIP
  13. I'd steer clear of the possibility of drinking her ring, or anything where you have it outside the boat. Make it a real shocker. For a gag, bring a twig with you. As she's turned against you fishing, you get on your knee and set the ring up, break the twig and say "oh crap, I snapped my rod" at that point she'll turn around completely oblivious of the next moment.
  14. Subwoofer is the best, even found a bunch at Academy on clearance for 98¢
  15. It always depends on the fish, trying to capture a moment in time with something that doesn't cooperate well isn't easy. Trying to get the right angle, distance, light/background have to come in consideration. You have to remember these are wall hangers, the second best comparison is a wall mount. One of the few I don't like are the knuckle holds, it makes the bass look like it has a neck and your bending it.
  16. You don't want another ltb, in fact I'll pay shipping and you can send them all to me.
  17. The 300 lbs tq did that
  18. Parking Lot's dry here. Last time I drove by was 20 min ago
  19. You kidding? I'm right next to the (springfield) main bps and no one is waiting at all.
  20. Hat-glasses-balaclava. If I need to I'll tuck closer to the windshield
  21. Welcome from across the river
  22. Good luck. How much different is the chew vs smoke addiction? Try Chantix, it might help ya. I've been smoke free for 1 1/2yrs now and can't stand smoke anymore. Former smoker of 18 years.
  23. You'll have to check the spool capacities, Rhett's also the daiwa lexa that comes in 300 and 400 size.
  24. The c3 is definitely a staple reel, I have one laying around but the soup can size is still awkward compared to using low profile a lot.
