  1. Way to go cowboys
  2. I catch and eat predators trying to ambush the bed. Sometimes the best part of a beding bass is watching them pummel much larger fish to keep them out of the bed
  3. It always helps to go to the seller info and read their feedback, especially the negative and make sure have plenty of feedback to show they've been in business long enough to be trusted.
  4. I barely use tubes, I don't get any action from them. my wife however can smash smallies on them all the time. She mainly uses gitzit 3/3.5in and mizmo's
  5. Totally agree, once you hit the six pound mark they even get the bug-eye ability
  6. Being on the bank or on a boat I fell comfortable with a 6'8-6'10 length medium rod with a fast or extra fast action. I'd prefer the XF action for better control but fast is very manageable. Personally, the length will depend on your height and how you hold the rod above the waterline for the jerks/twitches
  7. ____ happens
  8. Welcome aboard
  9. Spool up that D and let us know! You don't need megabass's or lc's, I caught this 5lber with a 3" cheapo under five bucks
  10. Cost and realizing how much hold the tobacco industry has on you are the two biggest factors on quitting, figure that you can't function without their product everyday is an eye opener. Glad they don't have that power over me anymore. You've made it past the first week, most of the time that's the hardest part, good luck afterwards
  11. It's hard to beat a smallmouth on looks, what pushes them over the top is when they have brighter red eyes
  12. http://geektyrant.com/news/full-scale-millennium-falcon-completed-for-star-wars-episode-vii For episode 7, the rumors might be true!
  13. I don't drive in rough waters but if I did I would look into using suspension seats, they use them in offroading to provide better shock absorption for the body
  14. Yes, and I've seen them at BPS at the end of the crankbait aisle
  15. Shimano hate burns another thread. How about back on topic.
  16. Mojo is the only one worth it, the others retailed closer to his asking price before they were discontinued.
  17. I don't play with a lot of reels but I like it much better than the e series
  18. Already ran into this in Ohio last week, no one was ready. I counted 26 cars mangled up on the side if the highway. People need to drive with caution
  19. Welcome aboard
  20. Who uses IE? Besides when you need to download a better browser
  21. Sorry for the loss, pets really do become part of the family.
  22. Try mono instead, it will help with the action.
  23. I use a lot of small jerbaits. The Yo Zuri pin minnows, smaller Rapalas like countdowns, ultralight minnow... up to the x-raps, originals, Trout magnet 3.5 crank (they are jerkbaits) Pointers. Stay within the natural colors like shads rainbows and browns or whatever baitfish or species are native. Action, try everything. depending on the area you don't get the time of day unless you are wild on the retrieve with a very short pause added in.
  24. What changed that you noticed/didn't work for you? We use C21 on everything, 6lb on spinning 1000-2500 reels and mainly 12lb for all around gear, and 15lb for med-hvy
  25. they tipped the house over!
