  2. Welcome aboard. This link will push you in the right direction http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/forum/12-fishing-rods-reels-line-and-knots/ Ask away for better specifics
  3. Welcome aboard
  4. Convenience. How fast or slow are you to switch out your baits? I'd rather have something different rigged in case the bite is missed but still can happen with something else
  5. Acetone still leaves a residue though, why not use 91% alcohol and blow on it to evaporate? It's one of the few cleaners that leaves anything behind.
  6. I use my glass on shallow rivers and larger lakes. I don't go everywhere on the river since it's not a aluminum jet boat but I get pretty far and know my surroundings. You best bet would be what was said about a Mod-V platform.
  7. I know a buddy who loves his Crucial crankbait rod but I don't know what model it is. I use to have a Clarus 7MH which I liked but didn't need it so I got rid of it, very nice all around cranking rod with a sweet warranty.
  8. Mojo has more options and a 5 year warranty, it's average in the sensitivity department. Ghost, still new, jury is still out, 1 year warranty
  9. Yeah it'll be more broom stick like. Probably make a nice short quarters jig rod or heavy jerkbait/top water rod
  10. Check out some older bass trackers, you'll probably get more bang for your buck and they're everywhere.
  11. Have you established what works in your fishing spots? There's a couple simple formulas for using minimal amount of rods to able to fish many applications 6'8MF topwater, jerkbait 7'MHF baitcasting for jigs, trigs, plastics, spinnerbaits (all purpose) 7'MHM baitcasting crankbaits 6'8-6'10MXF spinning lighter range all purpose Usually duplicate the all purpose rods so you have more ready made combos
  12. You can't change him and men make their own beds and lay in them, I suggest you don't put too much thought into it and focus on your issues.
  13. My condolences
  14. Not really interested, I have a good amount of reels and they don't need to be upgraded. There is always that one I can find for a good discount though I might snatched up. I like the smaller profile so the new chronic fits that bill with slightly more line capacity and the option for a faster retrieve
  15. Looks more like a Omega, Not A 33.
  16. Times change, spam cost the same as ham now and at many times ham goes on sale for way less. As for steak, the ramen gives it flavor, just like most steak is eaten since not many people can eat their meat plain. Even fillet mignon needs seasoning/sauce or bacon wrapped around it for taste
  17. Pack of ramen, sirloin steak sliced added in, squirt of kikkomon... just saying
  18. !
  19. 4 pages of pb&j, what's next a 6 page ramen noodle thread
  20. What?? They are super easy to tie.
  21. Now you're both out of commission, good luck with the added time together
  22. I like the cold, doesn't bother me.
  23. We can always test that out
