  1. 1. Update you location for better answers. 2. Suspending jerkbaits for pauses in the water.
  2. Longer rod, thinner line, bigger crankbait..
  3. Why?
  4. YouTube. Crappie are filleted the same way as bass & bluegill
  5. Shorter rod for topwater and jerkbaits, look into the 6'10 or 6'7, you could still do most techniques in the lure rating on the rod except for cranking well.
  6. More time on the water. Try new things. Read up on every aspect.
  7. Upgrade indeed. Enjoy your new toy
  8. I stay on the lighter side of drop shotting, 6lb line and up to 1/2oz. If I go higher it goes to a Croix medium Vendetta2 6'9MLF Premier 7'MLF LTB 6'10MLXF All are different and still perform.
  9. SVS is when your changing lures with weight and profile differences. VBS is an easier system.
  10. G = clearance pricing, stupid easy braking system (set&forget) I = retail, wide braking adjustment that can be finicky

    Wd-40

It's a myth, I think the makers of wd-40 even have it written in their faq about it. I'm not a fan of using wd for anything let alone a lubricate since it becomes sticky over time and hardens. *edit Here you go: What a Fish story! Myth: WD-40 contains fish oil. Fact: Consumers have told us over the years that they have caught some of the biggest fish ever after protecting their fish hooks and lures with WD-40. We believe this legend came from folks assuming that the product must contain fish oil since it appears to attract fish. Sorry Charlie®, it just ain’t so. WD-40 Company has taken steps to respect and conserve the environment, and encourages its users to do the same. While WD-40 can be used to help protect fishing equipment from rust and corrosion, WD-40 Company does not recommend using WD-40 to attract fish.
  17. I make it a point NOT to step in other peoples crap. Your night reinforces it
  18. 12lb copoly 15lb copoly for 20+ft
  19. Pitching 1 1/2oz jig/plastic max but mainly 3/4-1oz+plastic, light flippin, occasional swim baits up to 2oz and perhaps bigger spinnerbaits
  20. Might take a year, plenty of time to save up
  21. We use inline spinners and jerkbaits ranging from a 1 1/2in to 4in I don't play the powerbait eggs/balls but they still work. 6lb line from the bank to have extra strength because you never know what you get snagged in
  22. I'm not into the gambling thing, but my wife does it every now and then. We take $20 and throw it on scratchers. Anything she wins get thrown at more lotto.
