  1. A trim switch behind the steering wheel, resembles a cars blinker assembly
  2. course its worth it, why wouldn't you want to keep them running in tip top shape?
  3. It's an option with no downsides, add a blinker trim and you got one heck of a setup
  4. I had that problem at first, then I realized it was bluegills biting back of the worm and hanging on for the ride when I set the hook.
  5. I don't stop fishing with the remote, I use it enough it's like second nature. Still get some hiccups every now and then but who doesn't with even a foot pedal
  6. I think their quite reasonable in price really
  7. Usually get over it after the first few casts. I did buy them for a reason
  8. I've used the LT mlxf spinning for up to 78 pointers and even some t-rigged (1-16oz) 5" senkos just fine. I would look at the baitcasting version of it. I don't know how different the avid would be but the LT has a very nice feel when it comes to extra fast
  9. Actually they don't look bad at all, that's the 6'8/chronarch You can't go wrong with the 51e platform, I use them for everything, including what you're looking to do
  10. A little duct tape could fix that
  11. Nice fish A-Jay
  12. They're too busy throwing stones from their glass houses
  13. I use 20lb C21 copoly and 20lb fluro for the 6"
  14. 5 to 1 odds say he'll fish it, not catch anything, and give up.
  15. Somewhere in the 6'9-7' MLF or MLXF rod will work, use 1/4oz sinkers for the weight with many finesse soft plastics and you'll be fine.
  16. Sounds like a pleasant gift, enjoy it and break your pb
  17. In and around that price point you really can go wrong with any brand. 7'ML Premier is nice all around rod and if you want longer length 6'9ML Vendetta/Veritas if you want a tad bit more stiffness to the action
  18. I use 20lb pline c21 on a curado 200 with my 1-5oz swim bait rod, does just fine. I didn't like the 300 size and all the extra line
  19. Sweet upgrade
  20. Agree, grab some soft plastics and go slow.
  21. It depends, if you're a quick learner bypass a starter boat and dig in, you don't have to utilize everything right away in a bigger glass boat. Regardless make sure you get the right options when choosing your boat.
