Speed is preference, I prefer to not wear myself out cranking a handle faster for multiuse.
Since you have a PQ that is a 6.4 throw some cranks with it and see how your retrieve is. If you find yourself having to slow down more look for a lower ratio
Premier 7'mhm can throw almost anything. Get a mojo model if you want a split grip.
Look into a lew speed spool closer to your price range and stick to a higher ratio like a 6.4:1 for a better all around ratio.
Senko, wacky o rings
Just like checking your line after every catch, I check my senko. if there's a tear after several bass it goes in a pile to get glued by something like mend-it or spike-it lure glue.
It sounds like you didn't get the learning curve from shimanos newer braking system. The citica has a very simple set and forget system. Whereas the svs infinity takes more time to configure it. If you put more time into it you'll find it can surpass the older braking.Besides the braking, it is far batter than a citica in any category
