    I took the 2nd spool and placed 1/8" foam around it to make it shallower. Now it's closer to my 1000 size

    It's on the current model legend elite 7'MF, my soft plastics pitching rod. The reel replaced my curado 50e that had core 7 gears, chronarch knobs/extra bearings, Abec 5's. The XG gearing is worth it
