I fish that canal with good results although it's the southern most part (near the end) it has produced very nice numbers for any type of fish that you would find in the lehigh and its a playground for very smart carp. Long as the canal sections don't get drained a lot during the year (like my section did, and they butchered the spawning among other things) you should find fish.
