  1. My favorite reels, have the hg and xg, excellent weight and performance.
  2. I frequently use that line in 6,10,12,15 and seldom 20lb. As a run of the mill line it's good. Through my experience, the memory is constant, it'll be coilly the first couple cast then softens up after being wet no matter if its been 1 day or a whole season. After this first couple casts it's smooth. Far as abrasion, it's been above average when it came to toothy fish, 12 and 15 have been real good against pickerel. For swim bait line it depends what you define, big? small? Generally pline's CXX line is more suited based on the crowd.
  3. How did water get into the fuel system? Do you have a bilge pump?
  4. Once you go lobster, it's hard going back to the regular craw
  5. If you stepped up to the tatula, you'd be hard pressed to to go back down a notch over $30
  6. That's tiny, about the size of my local cabelas bathroom our Hamburg one is 250,000sqft, no wonder why I get lost in there a lot.
  7. I'm not a laid back person when it comes to fishing, so I would not choose the pond option. Even if I grew 20lbers in there it's still a barrel senario to me.
  8. 1000 for 4-6lb applications 2500-3000 for 6-12lb Also have a 2500 with a foam spacer I added to the spool to decrease the capacity so I can use 6-7lb line on it and not put too much on
  9. It's not the reels I need to trust, it's the users that sell them. Read the feedback and buy from seasoned sellers.
  10. Don't doubt it. I've never seen such a team complain and cry for a flag on every single missed play.
  11. Looks like Dallas is upset
  12. Not a fan of the dog food stocker flavor either
  13. Do we need an official barbie thread?
  14. Regardless of the brand, its the assumption of others and not opinions that are expressed more.
  15. He should parachute down
  16. Always store a spare motor key onboard when on a trolling lake. You never know when you'll leave you keys in the car
  17. You should have red label and power pro. Based off what every walmart I've been in carries, that would be the two choices
  18. Is the creaking sound without the reel on?
  19. Far as weight is concerned, it's the price you pay for more durability with flexcoat. I personally don't care if a rod weighs .2oz more (conjecture) for more protection, especially since I'm very hard on my rods. Rather have a knick in some clear coat than on the blank.
  20. I'm a huge Croix guy, though I passed on the LT carolina rod and picked a dobyns 735. The LT is still a nice rod, weighs less but is less balanced. The sensitivity is on par with each other. If I didn't get the 735 at such a great price (thanks Arv) I would've bought the LT carolina. The tip heavyness is minor enough to not worry about it to me. As others have said the upgrade from the avid is slight but it's slight all over with the blank, handle, and guide components.
  21. Looks like a pike
  22. Wrong side of the state but good luck to ya
  23. $1.96 traveling through Virginia, still 50 cents cheaper than where I'm at in PA
  24. That's because it wasn't expected
  25. Just tough it out for the season, imagine your opponents being giant fish flopping around the boat that you have to secure That'll get you to try harder
