  1. Rules are rules though. And with a team tainted like the patriots the headlines will flow.. I wonder if the ref who is suppose to be keeping an eye on the balls gets in trouble, per rule book:
  2. 735c, that rod was made to handle frogs and jigs
  3. Ram Mount makes hundreds of options
  4. I use 6lb copolymer without issue.
  5. It's not about the predictions though, it's the hype they project. Do they really need to dress up in cold weather waders and a giant rain coat to astand in a puddle to say it's raining.. Profit is their driving force and it's been for a while now
  6. It feels just like the original CI4, looks a lot better though, only real difference is the gear ratio is lower.
  7. Now you done it, you'll have to pick up a pair of the HDS-12 touches to compliment
  8. They'll work for the river, both the delaware and lehigh have plenty of shallows you can do with wading or just a pair of swim shorts. Safety is always key and I recommend using a walking stick if you go out and wade to check depth and contours. I've actually walked some parts of the lehigh for miles where the depth barely touched the hips, it also helps that the current in certain stretches are very weak, also a lot of eddys.
  9. You shouldn't have any problem at all with 'action', what the RC STX's do fault on is not all their jerkbaits lay in the water right. it's probably 65/35% bad to good ratio of how they're suppose to act when it comes to suspending, sinking, fast float, tail up etc. From the majority of bad ones, you can correct them by adding cut up suspend dots after the bill. Try working out different jerks/twitch styles along with reeling speeds and keep and eye on your line slack.
  10. 30 that's it? Still shorts weather
  11. Dynamat the inside of the reel
  12. I can see the heated arguments now: Hey man you're burning my 2500ft trolling spot!
  13. I still don't believe columbus should have any credit for finding america, after all he stumbled upon islands and not the main land. It's teachings like that 'columbus' in schools that make true findings more difficult to swallow since kids are pushed to believe something else at a younger age.
  14. it's been snowing here since 2 a.m. and there's barely two inches on the ground
  15. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/40660-show-off-your-stuff/?p=1687284 I have something similar in an excel sheet but I hardly update it.
  16. Constantly restocking Pointers
  17. New to me girl (rarenium, 2500S) on the left, replacing the girl on the right. I'm going to stop messing with my dropshot combo now Now my wife gets the other rarenium for her new skipping reel Edit, added another photo
  18. It is nice, though I wish they had a five or seven day non-resident fishing license when I visited, there's no way I would spend the daily price for that
  19. At times you read about hard lessons learned, although unfortunate you can learn from others mistakes. One that I've seen a lot has been guys snapping rod tips in car/house doors. After reading about it many times I make it a point to go rod tip first every time through a door, that way if the door closes accidentally it won't be as bad. What have you learned from others mistakes?
  20. This is coined from First World Problems, basically trivial inconveniences, jokingly for those who don't know. Just received a new reel and now it'll affect 3 rod combos through rotating reels around
  21. For bass, the CI4 will be fine, but for the bigger salt species there's been enough complaints about the body 'flexing', since the x-ship was introduced in the plus model this issue is gone.
  22. And it's flopping
  23. I would have loved to see the guy retrieve his boat the same way he launched it
  24. Most likey cost too much for not enough viewership
