    Hit up a Dicks Sporting Goods if ones near you and ask for a price check on a shimano Stradic 2500 or 3000, they should still be on clearance, they are one line below the Saros and you won't feel the difference. They should be cheaper than the Sahara

    Of course. truer to the meaning with 4lb line, a 500 size reel, with a 5' ultralight rod. Trout, Bass, Crappie, Perch being caught on downsized lures, largest trout and bass to date have been in the 4lb range, with the most memorable fights.

    That Abu combo was on sale at cabelas last month, If I recall it was $50. Bought it for the son but he ended up breaking it (car door slam) before the line got wet. No comparison or review for it because of that but it did feel heavy but solid

    Well that worked out alright, they had 3 left all 200's, Curado and Citica for my wife, one more Curado for me. Even the employees didnt know they were clearanced since there's no signs

    They don't taste as good as crappie/perch, but their taste depends on where you're catching at. They can stand polluted water, so watch out where you catch one to try it

    With a higher ratio you can just slow your retrieve when you need to, doesn't work so well the opposite way

    Best bait I use for crappie are small tubes, mainly white in color

    I'd have to say Baitcasting, learned quick and easily. Been trying out everything I have from when I used spinning gear.

    Better off switching to a backpack instead of a tacklebox, if your lucky they use to make a camping backpack with a seat part of the frame, they are hard to find

    I usually carry a cooler, no ice. If I end up keeping a bunch ill take my load off the chain and throw them in the cooler and stop by to get ice, depending on how far I'm away from my house

    That's right, you can even check state laws, I know in my state Your allowed to spank/physically punish your kid to a reasonable point, after that it's abuse
