    Filleting is quick, finding the fish is what takes time. I don't like dog food grade fed farm fish, that includes stocked trout. Wild fish could be even worse, look at the susky, pretty much bags of mercury swimming around with cancer sores on them.

    For the amount of time you have to put in, you're better off buying grocery store fish

    I avoid fishing nock because of the restriction. Have heard enough about guys breaking down and still getting fined cause they needed to idle their big motors back shore. If I was a bit closer and tended to it 50% I would look for a cheap glass boat hull and put a 20hp on it. Wouldn't sell what I had to downgrade for the lake though.

    Whenever I land a treble hooked catch I use my bps lipper gripper, can't beat it for the price and I don't get hooked anymore

    All ready did. Find some black Mr twister grubs and small jigs. They will out fish roadrunner 10 to 1.

    5lb sugar bags are 4lbs now. Remember you use to get concentrated antifreeze? Now you get 50/50 premix for double the price. Heard girl scout cookies give you less per box

    Actually use a 200 curado e with that rod, 20lb fluro/mono Have a 301e, it's just too big for me to use but it's still a very nice reel, looking to get rid of it.

    I use the sonar to find structure, not fish. Then I interpret the contours to figure out where the fish would go/be.

    I don't see what the fuss is over the yetis. You have to pre cool them the night before so it "keeps ice longer". I'd pass and go cheaper.
