I wouldn't wait to get word that bass are being caught. If that was the case the PFBC has had reports in early February about smallies being caught on the rivers. Go get your line wet!

We've only fished beltzville from shore and had good results with decent sized bluegill and perch, there's nice bass up there but you'll have to ask around since I don't boat fish

We were thinking about it but this lake was considerd dead with ice floating all around and wasn't expecting anything, I didn't have the gear for keeping or recording with me this time

Wife beat me too it, we haven't caught a walleye to add to the long list (each of us) of different species but last weekend changed that. Was exciting watching on UL gear with a jig. It couldn't have been small, to at least give me a chance
