But a good example would beto know what types of plants/trees that shed berries into the water. I have some plants that drop berries into a canal here where the carp feed on them
The Shock is meant for superlines like braid. The guides are build for it and the blanks is suppose to be more forgiving on hooksets like a 'moderate fast' action. You can still use regular line on it though

Try Black as the color, I have the best results in 5" with it
I think this happens with everyone that switches over. I thought the same thing but as a benefit with a baitcaster my hand was so much closer to the line and whole reel itself instead of the handle of a reel. You'll get use to it. If not I think Lews has some clickable drags at a good price
