i would carry them in the cab. you can lockem up.
i am looking for recommendations a higher end reel i can buy used in the $50-100 range and rebuild with new bearings and and any other worn parts like the curado.
i need multiple size offerings, common with plenty of used ones on the market, and good support from the manufacturer.
they kept croppie minnows in with him.
there was 1 piece of drift wood he would hold on. the minnows would swim in front of his mouth. he would gill flare and suck one in and they would freak and go hide. they would a.d.d. out and eventually swim right back in front of him.
i like to fish shakey head under docks as i can really work it slowly when i get a good cast.
also clean bottom is something to take advantage of under low docks of a decent size inhibit vegetation growth.
most likely your predator population is to high and all your prey fry is being consumed before its gets big enough to provide any real nutrition. i would be taking out out all the smaller bass and pickerel i caught.

http://www.outdooralabama.com/fishing/freshwater/fish/bassblack/spotted/
fish weight 3lbs 4oz=52oz
(52/143)x100=36.36
caught 4/24/13 on lake jordan by skipping a shaky head under a pontoon on a boat lift.
not huge but its a start. two things i'm counting on. i catch a bigger one and everyone else forgets about spots
you can see how worn the tail is from spawning. she was really under weight for this lake. she would score much better in a few months, or 2 weeks ago.
02 g3 175 with yamaha 50. $4k cash. bought needing new carpet and was a panfisher model. spent $700 making it a bass boat(adding decks and bass sized livewell), recarpeting, and aluminum floor
maintenance: bottom end oils and a set of plugs or 2.
upgrades: $300 in batteries to up grade to a 24v tm i already had.
$250 blue water L.E.D.kit for boat and trailer.
$60 rewiring trailer and L.E.D. caps for home made guide post
so $5350 + -
i like bright for weightless(white,pink,chartreuse,methialate,redshad)
and natural or darker for shakey head for t-rig(junebug,watermelon redflake, green pumpkin,)
my dad and i have h2o express ethos 7'mh(his) and skeete reese 7'3''(mine) big worm/football jig rod. i really like both, but the ethos fills like a blue carrot stix super light, i got my SR during the spring classic with rod trade in and rebate offer i got it for $45 off. but if buying at full retail ethos all the way. and you just take it back to the store and get a new one if it breaks.
i run 12 flouro leader on 30 lb power pro. its not that i think i need 30lb line for bass its both of those have a diameter of 8lb mon so they match up well. run uni to uni for my leader knot and have never lost a fish to it.
if your zoning out on long runs your missing useful info. are the birds or fish feeding? balls of shad on the surface of the main lakes or creeks?were is everybody else fishing? any temp changes on the graph?
