  1. This will be less effected by the dropping water Thats what i was saying. When the water is dropping key in on things that is isolated off the shores..Most fish will be suspended below or bove..Fish know when the water has a current that is pulling from the local dam site, and they know if they stay close to the shore as the lake is being pulled,,they may be in a bad situation..The fish we caught when the water was being pulled was on a white fluke with a weighted hook fished very slowly just off the main lake points as u start in them,,and the little secondary points back in there..But remember dont worry about bangin the banks with the water being pulled,it wont get you no where..If the water was stable and it was flooded, then guess what i would do???I would bang the flooded bushes on the banks with a strike king jig and a paca trailer.flippin all day..
  2. A pulse is still considered a small front and this time of yr any kind of front being big or little will effect the situation..First of all what i would do my freind is with the water temp being what you said i would not key on flooded shore brush or bushes,,unless it was a single tree or bush that was 20 or 30 feet off the original shore being before flooded..Just think the water is warming up pretty soon these bass are going to try and spawn and they are going to be stagin on secondary points and flats being the situation with them pulling the water the fish will be suspended off the shore but not real deep,,some will be around cover but most your big fish will be above the cover being afraid the water will catch them shallow.. KEY ON A FLUKE FOR THEM BEING SUSPENDED NEAR SECONDARY POINTS CLOSE TO A BIG COVE,,.IF THAT DONT GET IT THROW A 7 TO 9 FT DIVIN CRANKBAIT,,IF THAT DONT DO IT GO TO A SHAKY HEAD AND FISH IT SLOW WITH A BULKY BIG WORM OF SOME KIND..I DONE THE VERY SAME THING SUNDAY ON GREEN RIVER LAKE WITH THE WATER IN THE SAME SHAPE THAT BARKLEY IS IN AND WE SLAYED THEM ON A FLUKE AND CRANKBAIT ON SECONDARY POINTS ONLY AT BIG COVES..I HOPE THIS HELPED YOU A LITTLE.LET ME KNOW.. THANK YOU.

  4. In my opinion i think with the water being pulled down a foot or 2 each day the fish instead of moving up to the shoreline on cover,,shouldnt they be movin out farther from the shore as long as the water is droppin? Then i should target what? POINTS,DROPS,OR CREEKS WITH MUDDY WATER?? thank you all though for your jesters they both sound good,,i just wish you could see this lake it is in a mess with all the high water.. I thought about tryin a shaky head off the points in about 20 ft of water.. :-/
