  1. Thats what im thinking. The north end is a lot different than the far south side. Either way I go Ill catch em. With the weights from last weekend, its obvious the bite is better on one end than the other, and Id like to launch on the good end haha ;D
  2. The West Tennessee Elite Bass Club (WTEBC) started in 2010 when several anglers wanted to hold local competitive fishing contests and a chance to fish different waters in the surrounding area. Our goal is to provide an elite club that will be able to send the top 6 anglers to the FLW/TBF State Tournament. The club is open to anglers wishing to participate in a friendly and competitive type environment. We have members from all over the Memphis area and its suburbs. Draw Tournaments: During the monthly meetings, each member participating in the next up-coming tournament will state his/her angler status, as Boater or Non-Boater. Names are then drawn to determine fishing partners and boat blast-off order. Non-Boaters help share the boater's expenses. Our Tournaments are individual based. You compete as an individual for your best total weight. Each individual will be awarded points based on their total weight per tournament. There is an optional entry fee of $50.00. This covers the "$40.00 Fruit Jar " and the $10.00 Big Bass pot. There will be separate pots for the Boaters and the Non-Boaters. Boaters will compete with the other Boaters and Non-Boaters will compete with the other Non-Boaters for the money pots. 100% payback. Tournament points are based on the anglers total weight and not whether they are Boater or Non-Boater. You are welcome to visit any one of our monthly meetings and meet us! We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at Bass Pro Shops, 6140 Macon Rd. near I-40 and Sycamore View Rd in Memphis If you have any questions or concerns about the club, please don't hesitate to contact me! My name is Casey Keener, Secretary of WTEBC, and my email address is CaseyKeener07@gmail.com. Also, check out our website at www.WestTnEliteBassClub.com.
  3. Welcome
  4. Welcome!!
  5. Well after years of reading the posts of other BassResource members I finally decided to join the BR crowd! My name is Casey Keener and I am from Memphis, Tn. I am the secretary of a brand new bass club founded in 2010, West Tennessee Elite Bass Club (WTEBC). Im addicted to the TN River, especially Pickwick and Ky Lake! Im self employed, which means I work while I fish, and I wish I could fish while I worked ;D Thanks for having me!
  6. Last weekend Team Trails' top 5 bags all weighed over 25# coming out of JP Coleman. Ive talked around, searched the internet, tourney results, everything. But I cannot get any solid answers to where these fat limits were caught at!? Ive heard Yellow Creek, and then I heard Florence. But all I want to know is, were they caught north or south of JP? Does anyone know for a fact, or from a reliable source as to where i should be focusing my $4 gas/ga?
  7. My club just had a tournament there. Best sack was 9 lbs but it will get better as it warms up. But their best 5 combined and culled would have been 14 lbs. Weighing in separate was lite though.
  8. That is a great deal, I'm glad TWRA does that. I got my lifetime license the year before they raised the rates, nice not to worry about renewals anymore I wish my dad would have bought ME a lifetime SL the day I was born. Much cheaper then than now.
  9. Hopefully the water will rise before WTEBC club tournament!
  10. Thanks for the info. Going to put in at Stateline tomorrow I believe.
