  1. How many hours on a motor is alot? what year did they start tracking hours on motors and is it done in the computer?? and lastly is it easy for that to be altered or tampered with??? I ask these questions before i seriously start shopping for that great used boat. :-/
  2. When your wife calls you on your cell on the way to the lake and says she's leaving, and you say well, I'm gonna miss ya and keep driving.
  3. boo, don't know where you are from, but if you are on the west coast, or close try this site, just because they want don't mean they can get and alot of these guys are motivated because they have new boats on the way. make an offer all they can do is say no. ;D http://www.westernbass.com/classifieds/index.php?method=showhtmllist&list=advertisement_active&clearoff=1
  4. boo, I think the reason is, the printed version goes down monthly, and I think the web version is only updated periodically.
  5. try this website, it at least gets you very close to the ballpark, hope this helps http://www.nadaguides.com/MarineHome.aspx?WSec=14&wPr=0&wPg=2004&FileId=2004&it=27586
  6. extreme northeaster California, I can be in nevada or oregon within about an hour, I have about 4 different mountain lakes within an hours drive, smallmouth and largemouth
  7. boo, I have 17ft bassboat, powered by a 91 90 horse evinrude. although it is a bayliner made boat, 1988 vintage, but I think it is laid out pretty well considering. I am wanting to move up in size just from the storage aspect alone, my biggest complaint is rod storage area. It actually handles rough water pretty well, I have to agree with most of the other posters at least 18' 6"
  8. Thanks for all the replies to my post, yesterday, I have a 1991, 90hp evinrude and wondered how much more fuel I would burn getting a bigger boat with a bigger motor, I am guessing probably not that much more from what I can tell, if I get a newer model. anymore input???? thanks again
  9. Is there a rule of thumb or ???? on how much fuel an outboard uses per mile??? I have never seen any kind of guide or reference on it, I am more curious about 90 HP and above, thanks

    senkos

thanks alot, I think I am starting to get the picture, I always thought the salt was just for attractant purpose to the fish, and didn't realize it was for the buoyancy
