  1. Cove Campground in Center Conway NH. The only campground on Conway Lake. Great place on a great lake. Private launch, extra parking for your trailer and plenty of on the water sites. We usually head up for the spawn and have a blast.
  2. Always lookin for a new fishing partner.
  3. Thanks for the info guys. As it stands right now, i have an old 16'Sea Nymph that we put casting decks in and use a 20HP to move around which is usually plenty. I use the trolling motor more than anything anyway so no motors isnt a big deal to me although rowing is waaaay out of the question. I'll have to check out the place in N. Reading. As much as i love fishing in the home state, i dont have a lot of places around me that i can get into with my boat. I am looking for a smaller boat to throw in my pick-up but until then, the trailer will have to suffice.
  4. Hey all. I actually live in Salem, NH but I passed a nice looking reservoir the other day called Haggetts Pond in Andover,Ma. Anyone ever fished it and is there a ramp on it anywhere? Looks like a pretty decent spot but before I drop 37.50 on a Mass. non-res license, I would like to know if its worth it.
  5. Anyone know of any rental cabins on Conway Lake in Center Conway NH? A group of us usually rent a few spots at Cove Campground which is great but we'd like to find a decent rental house for the spawn. Usually during the last week of May. For anyone looking for a great lake thats pretty quiet, Conway is it. Nice public launch and if you want to camp, Cove is the only camground on the lake.
  6. Thanks for the input guys. I have actually fished a few of those places already, especially Massabesic. Grew up in Manchester so I have been all over that lake. But there are couple places that you mentioned that I will have to look into. As for what kind of boat I have, its an older 16ft Sea Nymph that we put casting decks in. Shes not pretty but she fits the need. I found a 68 Evinrude 18HP a couple years ago that someone had actually replaced the powerhead with a 20HP. Again, she wont win any speed races but shes comfortable and gets us where we need to go. I am actually keeping en eye out for something smaller to throw in the back of my truck so i can hit the smaller waters or places without a ramp.
  7. Hey all. Looking for good spots to wet a line in the Southern part of NH. I'm in Salem and have fished the most common spots (Canobie,Arlington Pond) and wasn't overly impressed. Maybe I just got there on a bad day...who knows? I usually take a spring trip with some buddies up to North Conway to fish Conway Lake during the spawn and as amazing as that lake is (50 a day not unusual), its a little too far to go to very often. Anywhere closer by that anyone would care to share?
