  1. Ok that's the paper. Now yes there are a lot of FP holes no where near bulls eye like I usually shoot like I stated I wasn't shooting the greatest and honestly I was rushing my FP shots and took a little extra with the BH mainly because well if I missed kiss that arrow goodbye little more expensive. At the end of the day I shot some FPs slow and they are right on the money. Now this is at 30yds my first BH hit high right you can see it on the top right of the target off the paper. I moved my rest again and that's what brought it to the one you see bottom left on the paper with the blue foam pulled out. Another adjustment and that are the hight ones you see in the 8 and 7 ring. Another adjustment and I dropped it to low again that's the one splitting the 8/7 ring on the bottom. So then I just nudged it a bit and got it on the horizontal plane of the bullseye but a little right again. This time I moved the rest left a touch. And that's my final shot holding pin on the center bullseye broad head just right of the POA and then I did 3 shots with FPs an they all went in the 10 ring. Not my best shooting not even close almost ashamed to post that pic I'm used to putting every shot on that red dot. But for rushing and having my kids screaming and running around or wanting to shoot or pull my arrows I was wigging out stressed. I will say at first because some hits were going left with the BH I thought that it was true that moving the rest would mess with the POI of my FP but just as a double check because my FPs were all over last night I told my boys to play in the sand box with the neighbor kid and that I was done and focused and shot again and they went right were I wanted them I'm happy with my results so far. Gonna do some more fine tuning and get my BH and FP touching.
  2. I was watching hank Parker 3d last night when I first seen this post. I just realized I was watching pursuit. It's the only hunting/fishing channel we et also. The shows yes are a bit sub par but it beats the other crap on tv
  3. pics of the holes wish I had a camera to film each shot to show if but I just got pics of the holes cuz I used a paper rifle target. Ill get them loaded tomorrow when I'm at work I have the worst cell service in my apt I'm not even on 3G typing this up pics don't ever upload to photo bucket here.
  4. Ok I did some quick BH tuning tonight and I mean quick have you ever tried to do something like this with 2 toddlers yeah it was a nightmare if shoot once my 4 year old would kick and scream to shoot his. I've gone from almost missing the target to they are just inches apart gt pics ill post tomorrow and give more details on what I did but I moved the hell out of my rest and my FP still has the SAME poi.
  5. Now that's a friend!!! Gave ya a nice hoyt love hoyts
  6. Yeah I just seen that on another forum I sent ya a pm bout it same time u posted this haha.
  7. Last night I ended up with BOTH my boys in bed with me I got maybe 2 hours of sleep pure hell. This morning on the way to daycare Noah my 4 year old said he doesn't like staying in his room because he seen some thing red and green crawling on the floor at night. I asked him what it looked like and he said " it's red and green and as big as me and scary" I told him its a reflection on the hard wood floors and the tv. But then my 2 year old kept saying he seen a kitty when we were eating and he pointed at the shelf in the corner and well the cat was no where near it. He kept pointing like it was walking around but the only thing over in the corner was containers of flour, sugar, like baking stuff(yeah I bake cookies) kinda was freaky he swore that a cat was over there but there wasn't.
  8. Do the bladed stay "locked" when pulled out of a target? That's like the general rule for mechanicals the rage and T3 heads when pulled the blades stay locked in place where some collapse back forward. That's what I was told by a DEC officer basically he said if a deer or gravity can't pull it out because the blades lock in the back position.
  9. I'm gonna try some new broad heads I'm gonna see if my buddy's t3 shoots better or maybe the nap kill zone when I get a dang paycheck gotta love the military getting guys paid on time it's been 3 weeks it's irritating when I need cash for stuff I can't use my GOV card on
  10. That would be awesome but everyone treats my boys differently. The ex and her family use fear to control them they whine or are bad and so and so will get you that's why Noah is terrified of chipmunks.
  11. T3 and rage 3 blade are both illegal in NYS because they are considered barbed. The cork screw thing I mentioned I think was like stated earlier a optical illusion. I shot again tonight just quick a few shots at various ranges I shot 10, 20, 30, 40, and 60 yards just to try and see a few things I checked out in videos about knocking points and peep alignment and what not just a quick few shots. I had the neighbor watch he said my arrows were flying like lazer beams lol. Wish I got him to video it but I forgot.
  12. That was my thought also if you move the rest it will just move the field points the same. The guy in the video I posted says it something like field points fly the same an true it's just what they do. He doesn't show it he does shoot two shots though don't see what though. He does say in the beginning he is only shooting 1 broad head so maybe the other is a field point I'm not sure. One of the sgts at the armory said the same thing though he said make the rest adjustment it won't affect the field point. Seems counter productive to me but I'm gonna try it.
  13. I've tried laying with him and it worked the first time but I don't feel that the bed is safe enough for me lol. It's just a little chinsy bunk bed I'm 187lbs and my son is maybe 45. I'm afraid it's gonna collapses one o these nights and my 2 year old is underneath so that would be bad very bad.
  14. Sorta I asked him why he's scared that jack is the baby and he is fine sleeping on the bottom Bunk and sleeps all night. Noah ways get out in the middle of the night to climb in bed with me
  15. Ok this made it simple I just move my rest what will be to the left and hopefully down idk how the down part will work I gotta look at my rest.
  16. Taco........
  17. He has a tv in there with them they get to watch and leave on all night. There is also a night light. The boys love the room can't get em out of it it's got their train set all their trucks and toys you name it they got it. During the day he will be in there climb on top bunk fine and lay and watch tv but soon as I say it's bed time Noah freaks. I've tried getting him to maybe lay with his brother on the bottom but then he cries the cat will get him so idk. He slept with me all night last night but I told him tonight he has to start in his bed if h wakes up he can come in if he wants
  18. Reading some of the tuning pages got my head spinning but I'm reading it all on my cell phone and scrolling left right up down haha. I'm gonna re read everything today at work on a computer screen and where it is quiet.
  19. Ok so I've come to a tough situation at least for me with my boys. As many of ya know I'm a single father raising my boys and been doing a d**n good job if I say so my self...... However tonight my 4 year old had a break down. He was freaking out not wanting to stay in his bunk bed or sleep in his room alone tonight. He kept insisting he was scared and pointing at the floor and closet. I asked him if ya know he's afraid of a monster in his closet he said "no the closet is fine I hear noises" I told him its just the cat playing and he insisted its not that. I then told him he just hears me getting up in the night to use te bathroom again he insisted no its not that he knows them sound its "just different". Now this is wear I'm for a loss as I show no sympathy I'm a tough love type parent a lot of " suck it up, walk it off, oh your fine" out of my mouth lol so I'm a little lost my little man is legit scared to sleep alone in this new apt and I'm just telling him "suck it up and sleep its nothing that will hurt you". As tough as I tried to be I still caved and he is in bed laying next to me right at this moment with his boney little knee in my side. I don't know what to do my two year old I give him milk lay him in the bottom bunk he drinks his milk sets the cut on the floor and passes out. My oldest is terrified I've tried letting him lay with me and move him but it lasts about 10 minutes and he's back in bed with me. I've tried staying in there with him till e sleeps but that doesn't work now either plus I'm afraid of breaking the bunk with my fat arse up there. What should I do
  20. I might be able to take the bow to the armory with me and shoot it on te drill hall floor we were last week so I don't see the issue. If its ok with them then I will take it and shoot it there and I will have a buddy video tape it on my phone and I'll up load it at the earliest Wednesday. I kinda want to try another broad head and see if they fly true but I've got 8 dollars to my name till next Wednesday so that's out lol same with trying new vanes bad part is at that point I will be on orders 3 hours from home staying out of a hotel.
  21. These heads are supposed to fly like field points I've emailed the company an they have been helpful to an extent they said to make sure the bow is 100% perfectly tuned because of the design of the head any slight imperfection in the set up or shooting form will be amplified by the design of the head. I don't have much time with the mission I took on with the guard to get this sorted I may end up taking the bow with me and finding a good shop out in Rome, ny to help with tuning and setting up. Most the reports on archery talk of people actually using these heads say they hit right on the money even posting pics of hog kills and an elk kill. The ones with problems all say that they switched vanes and corrected the issue and the emails I received from the company state the same to maybe go to bigger straighter fletchings. I might try a 4" blazer on a few and see how it shoots mine are 2". The two sgts at the armory who put me on these heads say they opened the pack shot and it was same POI as the field tips.
  22. This is what I want I hate having two poi after 2 shots I knew where to aim for Kentucky windage but I'd rather not have to.
  23. I also forgot to ask. If the broad heads shoot that out of whack from the field tips like always high to the right would I just add a pin for the BH because I don't want to keep re zeroing every season because I switch to field tips in the off season
  24. What my 4 year old is. The littler bugger fell asleep behind me on the couch and my 2 year old fell asleep on top of me and last time I checked I am not a bed lol. I just bought them new bunk beds to make more room in their bed room and let me tell ya it is no easy feat putting a sleeping 4 year old in the top bunk lol.
  25. Ill have to wait till tomorrow to watch the link at work my service is the worst here in my apt. The T3 is great my best friend swears by them but they are illegal in NY he hunts them in PA and rage 2 blade or montecs in NY. I've only been shooting one toxic head saving 2 for hunting so idk te group I'm shooting with BHs the groups I'm stating are with field tips. If I get the one I'm shooting to hit like they claim they will I will order some replacement blades and shoot the others just to see how they group. I was impressed with them on the block other then completely destroying the block lol. They got about 6" more penetration then the field tips almost complete pass threw at 30yds on a block. I'm probably gonna take a trip to the bow shop this week ad hope he has it done in time for deer season it took him 3 weeks back in April I can just imagine he is swamped now. I will be out of town till sept 15 season opens oct 1
