Yeah Its no biggie all the nurses love it that I'm so relaxed and easy going they were practicing sticking me earlier cuz the line they put in last night is in my elbow on the right and if I moved my arm the slightest bit it would pinch off flow. So they moved it to my left and tried my hand and wrist 7 times lol never flinched just sat there being a pin cushion. It helped to I had a cute nurse lol. And keep rubbin in the food lol I'd kill for some wings or steak maybe after the surgery tomorrow I mean it's the all u can eat chicken wing buffet at Quaker steak and lube tomorrow.

Actually didn't have a MRE the entire deployment haven't had one in over a year. Bored as hell in this hospital I got a private room had my sister drop off my laptop watching movies bored and hungry there not letting me eat.

Oh I feel like a million bucks they gave me some awesome narcotics soon as I got in lol high as a kite this morning. I'm feeling fine now just super hungry but on clear liquids only diet till midnight then nothing.

So some of you might remember I was having gallbladder issues the other week. Well last night I had another attack this one wasn't the normal discomfort loose a hour of sleep then fine. After 5 hours of puking and extreme pain I drove my self to the ER at 2am. A cat scan and sonogram later I'm now admitted waiting for surgery in the am. It's full of stones really bad they said plus inflamed and infected and showing thickening of the walls. So now I wait for surgery in the morning.

Farmer I really do like the jeep Cherokees I had one as a loaner when my transmission went in my mazda. We aquired it at the shop after towing it out of a ditch. It had rolled on its roof and ran upside down for what we were told 10 minutes. George still has it to this day 5 years later few dents but running strong it's his sons truck. I'm mostly torn between ther Cherokee and outback. Both indestructible just rust but that's inevitable here in WNY. Jeep I like cuz some of my coyote spots are pretty rough terrain to get to. The outback gets good mileage.

Older chevy 4x4 would be nice if we could go to gas prices 8 years ago at least. I'm driving. 2013 Nissan Titan SV right now(rental) I love it but but it only gets 15mpg on a good day. Another consideration is need room for car seats I have the 2 little ones still in car seats which is another downfall on the wranglers.

head gaskets are known problems on like 99% of the vehicles out there lol every honda, toyota, chevy, ford, and subaru out there has head gasket problems lol yeah some are more prone then others just like how the chevy v6 engines all blow intake gaskets which at that point might as well do the head gaskets well your at it because there next. I have rebuilt 2 Subaru WRXs one was a STi the other was a base model we turned into a STi for the most part(stayed 5 speed not 6) I'v taken that boxer engine down to bare block and built it back up not the easiest engine to work on but I will take that over the mazda rotory engines iv done 2 of them as well it just makes your head spin and say wow how simple at the same time lol.

So the soon to be ex and I are finally on the same page filing papers this week for uncontested divorce and in the deal I'm letting her keep the ford edge she bought well I was gone. Few reasons being I hate the thing and I cant get out from under it trade in is crap and don't feel like sitting on it waiting to sell and she loves it and is gonna take over payments with the new job she got. So she is keeping it but that leaves me with no wheels of my own. I did my taxes a few weeks ago its just in que to be filed since they keep pushing the date back the IRS will accept returns and I'm getting 7000 back. She is taking 25% to buy the kids clothes cuz they need it pretty bad and then some other things shes getting also. so that leaves me with roughly 5000 I wanna spend 3000 or less and a new set of wheels. then the rest I'm splitting whats left over half towards my credit cards half into savings. I'v got a few vehicles in mind and they are plentiful iv found a bunch for sale and in my price range if not cheaper. Here is what I have in mind Jeep Cherokee, Jeep wrangler, Subaru Outback or a Forester, Or a pick up of any make really as long as its 4x4. The jeeps are tanks especially the 4.0 six in them iv had a Cherokee in the past absolute tank. The Subaru is also bullet proof then the pick ups well not tanks or bullet proof I can rebuild a 350, 318, 302 ect with my eyes closed and they are every where and so are parts should anything go bad. The reason I am leaning away from the jeeps and pick ups is gas mileage but I love the clearance and 4 wheel drive a lot of my hunting spots I need the 4 wheel. The Subaru though lacking clearance has a killer AWD and they are great on gas. The only thing with the Subaru is I would want it to be 5speed trucks I can deal with auto trans but cars I prefer stick. Or I could just get a car like a cavalier or some jap car iv had em before and made due iv had count less deer strapped to the hood and trunk of my old cavys along with my Toyota turcel pulled into the river with me standing on the hood casting catching small mouth I can make cars into wanna be trucks for the gas mileage lol. I know 3000 or less wont get me a great car but I'm a mechanic and can fix most stuff or catch it before it goes and every thing Iv looked at I have personal hands on experience tearing apart and rebuilding or repairing from working in shops and while in school I built a 4.0 HO jeep engine ground up they are pretty simple. Any one have any input or experience with the said vehicles I may even spring for a 4cyl wrangler for the gas mileage.

I do alot of predator calling lately iv been having a string of hawks be called in. One spot I'm sure it's the same red tailed but even one of my spots 40 miles from the other iv called a few in. Now when I say I called them in they first circle the caller and decoy then go into full tuck and dive on the decoy. I had a owl knock over the decoy as well.

I don't have a wife to know any more it's starting to grow on me I kinda missed the single thing though I still see her everyday cuz of the kids needin to go to school and I have the truck but I get to leave when iv had enough. My wife was impossible to know and please though when we were together part of her condition never knew what Alexis I was dealing with. Not being with her could pay off to with gun laws and mental health issues the way were headed.

I mostly use a debit card because I use USAA so there isn't like a bank I can just go to to withdraw money. I do how ever prefer cash it makes ya think before you spend at least me anyways same with my soon to be ex wife she would rather use cash cuz she doesn't go threw it as fast it helps her save. She did how ever max out both my credit cards while I was gone so iv got them to pay off with my tax return 1500 between the 2 cards. I had them for emergency or for certain things like reels and hunting gear but at first i or we were good we only used it when we had the funds set aside already I'd buy what ever then pay it off in full. That worked for the first 3 months I was gone then she went to minimum payments and maxed them out.

Lol ok so last night I said I give up but I came home took a nap and went back out this morning to the same woods I hit last night. I got pulled in around 730 ish grabbed my .17 and headed in this time no calls, no camo, just me and my gun and a hand full of shells I was gonna get a few squirrels to join the 2 in my freezer from earlier in the week. I started walking in now when I squirrel hunt I kinda still hunt I walk at a snails pace it took me 30 minutes to get maybe 300 yards. I seen 3 on my way in but didn't get shots they were in thick brush and the 17 wasn't gonna make it in there and I wasn't wasting any ammo with this shortage. So I figured I'd go where I know I will get a pile my buddys archery stand because every deer hunter knows squirrel central is smack dab where you put your stand that and I passed up like 10 the other day while calling there. So I get to the tree stand climb up get situated and just wait. Seen 1 squirrel off the get go about 100 yards out but headed my way so I just sat patiently for my first victim. I'm not in the tree 3 minutes and here comes a fox headed right at me outta the thick stuff!!! I tried kissing at it to get it to stop nothing just kept trotting head on about 30 yards out I say forget the kissing i'll just shoot it on the move. Soon as I picked up my gun it turned a little laid its ears back and started running towards the gate to the pasture must have seen something it wanted idk so I squeeze off a round down he goes. First fox of the season on a full run dropped 15 feet from the stand I was in and I wasn't even calling! Sat there for a minute taking it in climbed down to get my game. I set my gun down on the log bend over to grab my fox and what the hell 2 more standing out in the pasture big beautiful cherry red fox standing there begging shoot me. So I grabbed the gun quick get one in my scope and I hesitate.....the winds blowing 30 mph this morning and still is this was about to be a 125 yard shot in 30 mph winds with a 17HMR NOT gonna happen I mean maybe but like I said kinda wanna save bullets and only take shots I know 100% I'm gonna make. So what felt like a hour watching these two fox in the pasture was over in like 2 seconds because they kicked on the after burners and were gone I seen em again go into the thick stuff by the house bout 400 yards away d**n and I left my call at home! So I got 1 today a male with I'm pretty sure mange not that it mattered because that 17 destroyed the hide I hit it about a inch maybe 2 back behind the front leg the 20gr game point went in and came out by its rear hip on the opposite side blowing a tennis ball sized hole in it! I skinned it out just in case it wasn't mange but once I seen that hole nope no good. Mods I'm sorry if the one pic violates the rules.

pretty sure still illegal in NY even prior to this ban. tube extenders were illegal for mosberg 500's and remmy 870s because it took it over 5rnds thats what I was told when a guy in our hunting party got stopped by the DEC for having one on his 500 they took his gun and he lost his license.

I understand about plain ole 10/22 but some will be banned like the wanna be AR types just like the rem 1100 tactical.

From what I seen on the NYS troopers site and speaking with one last night in subway it was jut a "short" list still needs more added. The one I seen and what he knew of as well was just a list of basically every manufacuter of AR, AK, FAL, Galiel and tactical shotguns. Like the Remington 1100 tactical version is banned but not any other of the same model. The list still doesn't have SKS, or the ruger 10/22 and others which by definition are all illegal now in NYS. From my understanding also we can have all these weapons and even the 10 rnd mags just need to be registered and then the mags don't need to be altered as of yet you just only put 7rnds in and good to go! Lol I don't own anythin I need to even worry about I just think the ammo NIC check is a little ridiculous.

And that's why I could never go on a hunting trip there for fox because id come back and have a season like I'm having this year just can't put a set together I'm like 0-50 lol.

That's nothing I just spent a year in Kuwait it hit 130+ quite often and now I'm in WNY in teen temps just woke up to do some fox hunting but you guys in Australia got us beat on them guys hands down I'd love to go there for fox hunting and the women lol.

Iv been thinkin bout it and even more so now I had a few threads going on here bout picking up and moving south. Things since have become much more complicated now going threw a divorce I can't well I mean I can but I can't just get up and move once done with the divorce because of my kids. It's gonna make pistol permit I'm goin for a bit more interesting though along with now the NICs check for buying any ammo. Considering going to the rally in Albany Saturday actually not sure yet.

Yeah not here that's why I like the calibers I shoot there not really high demand. The shop owners did say they had it this morning but with lastnight vote everything sold soon as doors opened. I'll be up and reloading within a month iv got about 200pcs of once fired .243 brass plus about 700pcs of 223/556 iv acquired over years iv got a few people who are out and want some ammo.

I stoped at 3 gun shops today looking for ammo for my 17hmr and my 243 all were sold out but 2 one the closest most local one wanted $27 a box of 50 for 17hmr ammo!!!!!! That's about $12-15 to much I can order it online for 11-13 a box. One shop was completely sold out the other HAD 4 boxes left and at $15.50 I thought I was gonna get a speeding ticket on my way out to the shop lol I now have them 4 boxes and with the 17 that's 200rnds so 200 dead critters if I don't paper punch with any of it. .243 was gone every where but 1 box of 100gr federals but I shoot 58gr superformance out of mine. .22lr, 223/556, 308/762, 9mm were all sold out everywhere with a big sign at the last shop I got my HMR ammo at that said even the warehouses were empty. I asked about ordering a CZ 527 in 17 rem a gun in affected by any of the bans and I was told ALL warehouses are empty couldent even order it and be on a waiting list. Same story at all 3 shops all told me they can't even order me that CZ all the way down to a single shot cricket 22 for my son.

Iv been following it on a few other forums and sources it's true plus the local Walmart here in town confirmed also when I asked when they would get more 17hmr ammo in stock.

Blue ticks arnt that big either my buddy runs fox, coyote, coon, bobcat, and bear with blue ticks.
