What area of Clarks Hill are you guys catching bass right now? I haven't seen the Hill since it was full pool. I probably won't even recognize it. Putting in at Wildwood Saturday and was hoping to try some areas I've never been. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I am thinking of purchasing a spinning rod for finesse fishing but I want to clear something up first.
Why do most spinning reels come with the handle on the left side? From what I know, this model is technically a right hand reel and a left hand reel has the handle on the right side. I am right handed and it seems that it would be better to have the handle on the right side. I understand that it is an advantage when casting because with the handle on the left this keeps the rod in your strong hand. In the past when I have used spinning gear it felt very awkward reeling with my left hand. I know on some models you can switch the handle to either side.
Can someone shed some light on this and give me some suggestions/recommendations?
Thanks Yall!
Can some of you guys recommend a good topwater rod? I want to use it for topwater specifically. I am willing to spend $200 or less. I am about 6'1" and need something I can work good from a boat deck.
Thanks
I am trying to find the best computer mapping program. I want something that has detailed maps of lakes and even 3D maps. I want something I can run on my desktop of laptop and download directly into a GPS system.
I have heard a lot of talk lately that ESPN and the BASS Federation are having big problems. I also read an article that said Irwin Jacobs of Ranger offered the Federation a lot of money to affiliate with the FLW. What do you guys know?
I am from Pelham, GA. About an hour drive from Lake Seminole and Eufaula. Going to School at Georgia Southern University(Statesboro) right now so I fish Sinclair, Savannah River, and Clark Hill alot. Matter of fact, the pros are coming to Clark Hill this tour season.
