So took my new HDS7 out today and was ...disappointed. The structure scan was lack luster to say the least. Now my question is : could be be because where I was fishing it was only between 3-10 feet of water and heavily weedy? Perhaps my location of my LSS transducer is in a wrong location (im 98% sure its not)..or is my motor causing an issue? I dont know it just didn't loook......how i expected it to? like it literally served me NO benefit...at all...like it wasn't even working. I took like a 10 sec video so if you can rapidly see if anything severly does not look right let me know...i guess ill just have to tinker with the settings i guess. I dont know it just didnt look.....clear..it was literally fuzzy. ]

Quick question: So Lowrance tells you that you need a drill to drill a hole for the transducer screws, but never tells you what size drill bit....anyone know? Can i assume its the same size for the HDS Sonar Transducer screws as well? Thanks

When i lift my back window down to let my Veritas rod stick out, only to forget that it was sticking out and rolling up the window and breaking it. Having only used it twice. Then after i got over it 5 min later i went to launch my boat, only to realize the pin that makes the engine grab the transom unit snapped and i couldnt use my engine. OR the time when i wrestled a large mouth i caught out of a dogs mouth that was running without a leash at my local park and grabbed it right as i brought it over the bridge railing, then proceed to almost get into a fist fight with the owner about it. It was ugly.

me and a couple friends had a sunfish catching contest. I won with 41 in 1 hour and all my other friends averaged between 20-36.....all using american cheese on tiny hooks. so easy

Yea, i just ordered the HDS gen 2 7 with insight bundle and LSS-1 for 1399 with the 100 rebate it will be 1299....not bad in my eyes. I just said *** it and ordered it out of frustration

Seriously? I really cant think of anything so difficult. First i wanted a 798cSi unit....sounds great right? its listed at 1049.99. Super. Ask the gentleman at BPS which would be better in my situation, side or down imaging? he Obviously had no ****** idea so he said... why not get the HDS5-Gen2 structure scan bundle for 999.99 which has Side AND down imaging? I say: GREAT! show me. Oh wait...they dont have any left in store or online. So hes trying to do some endless isles sht and work with managers (really very much awesome customer service on his part) but i really just wanted to get the hell out of there at this point. So i ended up walking out of there with nothing. Entire trip to BPS pretty much wasted. So now i see that the promo from Lowrance ends on the 30th. But like...can you get the LSS-1 and a HDS7Gen2 from two different websites and it will still count towards the rebate? What a pain in the ass this is turning into because BPS has the HDS7's in stock...but no LSS-1....but Cabelas does.....so can i get one from each and still get the 300$ rebate? What a hassle.

OBVIOUSLY my new scale that i got from BPS had no batteries in it because i fail at checking stuff like that so i have no accurate guess at its size...any guesses/estimates would be greatly appreciated.
