Car seat is gonna be brand new from whatever company makes said stroller. Good point on checking dates though. Stroller is gonna be some kind of aluminum frame multi year deal. Basically one stroller for the entire time child uses stroller. Crib is her department. We kept the uber cool changing table from when my son was born. It has been on loan to our brother in laws brother. A lot of our old baby stuff is being sent back to us from being loaned out. We did still have our crib until four months ago. We got into a huge fight while moving. Well someone may have lost their temper and used an axe to move the crib, a computer table, and a credeza. She was even less thrilled when she came home and found me toting those items out in bags. Almost used the axe on me for that stunt I pulled.

It has nothing to do with safety. Im just sick of paying enormous prices for stuff that cost pennies on the dollar to manufacture. The quality is generally less impressive too. Not always the case, but that has been my experience. I can't justify spending my money on something someone is turning that big of a profit on. Our crib is being purchased used(as of now) as are a decent amount of other stuff. With the amount of wealthy people around the area. I can get high end used stuff for a lot less than retail.

I do, from every country except one. My boot and knife experiences from said country have left more than much to be desired. Plus most the recalls on baby products are from that country. Price doesn't influence the decision as much. I would rather spend 30 dollars on a quality product then 1000 on same product. Not every product is gonna be of the same level quality regardless of where it is made. Some batches are good some are bad. My problem comes from paying 200 dollars for a product that cost 15 dollars to manufacture. As opposed to paying 200 dollars for a product that cost 100 dollars to manufacture. The materials are better 9 times out of 10. I know from experience that the materials imported from said country for a pharma plant we built all had to be thrown out or reworked due to the inferior quality. Out of 100 weld o lets. 98 of the Chinese made wouldn't hold pressure or the welders blew holes in them trying weld them on. 4 out of 100 of the american made failed. I greatly appreciate your input. We will start reading consumer reviews tonight.

We have decided to support our American manufacturing, with our upcoming baby. Sweet Mother Mary I am suffering from sticker shock. We have narrowed travel systems down to two brands. One is Proudly Made in USA! The other is Proudly made in Maine! Cause Maine is its own country now apparently. However with the car seat travel systems. The price is only like 20 dollars then the Asian imports. Strollers on the other hand... sheesh freaking things are a few hundred dollars different. European stuff is even more expensive. Especially the German strollers and what have you. The sales lady told me for the price the 1800 dollars for the German made stroller was a steal. And she could knock 300 off if I wanted it today. I told her steal was the only way I was gonna have said stroller. Now to intervene before my good meaning, but meddling mother in law buys me some Chinese made garbage. That will most definitely cause World War 3, if she does that. Im not sacrificing my work boots for another month just to get under cut by her. I will build the baby a stroller made from tin cans before I ever push my baby in some Chinese garbage. I dont care if its a 9000 dollar Chinese stroller used by Paris Hilton or whoever the new Hollywood obsession is. On the positive side of things. I have contacted an AMERICAN seamstress that has agreed to reupholster whatever car seat and stroller we get in Chelsea blue and yellow! Including custom make a newborn Chelsea jersey for our new addition. She is also making me a newborn and youth Tatum Raiders Jersey! Doesn't matter if the baby is boy or girl. My child will be wearing Chelsea and Raiders colors! Not necessarily in y hat order. This is what happens when my red neck butt starts making money. Willy Robertson was right. Dont give a red neck a fat check. Cause this is what you get.

TIG takes a lot of practice and a steady hand. Its clean compared to the others. No soot, no slag, and no splatter. Its a lot of fun. I ain't ran a cutting torch in almost a year now. I used to could cu tree straight as a laser. Im pretty sure it would look like an alligator bit off what ever I cut with one now.

Least y'all have one of the two.

Now that's uncalled for. We are getting better though. Its just been a rebuilding decade.

Worked out fine. I called my company 4 times between 0545 and 0730. Im pretty sure they got sick of hearing from me. Then much to my surprise I got to go back to working with my welding tool buddy today. Yay me. Now Im a ok stick welder. Im not the greatest, but I get by. I can TIG weld with the best of them. I ain't done much stick welding in the past year and a half so I'm refreshing and relearning some stuff. My welding tool buddy is stressing beautiful welds right now. Since we got time to practice and what not til the outage starts. We have been doing just that. I have made some of the ugliest welds I have ever seen the past two weeks. Being a complete smart arse today. I decided I would make my last batch of welds left handed. I figure I TIG weld left handed so I might as well try my luck at sticking with my left as well. (Im right handed) Holy crap! I laid out three of the most beautiful welds I have ever done! Homies jaw hit the floor as did mine. I have never seen someone laugh as hard as he did about my backwards welding. Even my Forman and job Stewart were stunned by what I did. It was a fitting end to my day.

Pregnant wife said baby wanted subway. I ain't stupid enough to come between a prego and her subway.

Left my wallet at Subway last night. It has my badge to get in to work in it. Supposed to be at work by 0630. Called work they said keep them posted. Called Subway at 0545. They have wallet. Won't give me the d**n thing til 0700. So here I freaking wait. Talk about a rotten start to the day. I guess it could have been worse. Someone could have stole it. Grrrrrrr.

Yeah Gucci quoted close to 3300 for the pair I liked. That's so far out of my price range. I'm not a hip hop star or professional athlete. I will check out the two companies you mentioned though. Thanks for the heads up on them.

Its definitely a pain to find shoes. Even American shoes. 90% if not more of shoes stop at a 13. The odds of finding them in a shoe store are almost impossible. Very few even have 1 pair in the entire store.
