From what I've heard there is a lot to it, skill wise. I have some buddies that do it. Two of them are actually pretty good at it. Not really my cup of tea though. I prefer to brawl, MMA is to technical for my tastes. But hey to each his own.
Lets not lump us all into the country catergory.
I listen to some old country. But mainly in order of favorite.
Melodic Death Metal, Black Metal, Classical (symphony), Punk, Gutter Punk, Ska, Gutter Ska, Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Hardcore Rap, Gangster Rap, Old School Rap, old country.
Pretty diverse aren't I?
Oh, and my current favorite band is Cradle of Filth.
Gotta make that money. And yes a lot of the penalties and fines are ridiculous. I'll say most are deserved, but more and more are starting to blur the line.
But hey maybe I'm impartial because the Raiders are the most penalized team in the NFL right now.
I would have paid hundreds to see the look on sabans face when auburn ran that kickoff back. Right after he gets done saying he told his players to step it up. I bet that man almost stroked out when that happened.
That is exactly who it was. I'll pm you the little jewel of information he gave to me. I just see me getting in trouble for posting it. And Romanowski was a straight beast when he played. He was dirty. Yet he was a dang beast.
You so are not kidding about the bottom of a pile. I had an ex raider line backer inform me of the best way to get the football from the bottom of a pile. It is one of the crudest things I've ever heard in my life, but it worked like a charm. Still though there's a big difference between what's seen and what isn't. Intentionally stomping on someone in plain sight of everyone is different then breaking fingers and what not under a pile.
I agree with ya on leading with the top of your head.
But come on now, hitting a defenseless reciever resulting in a penalty and fine. Is pushing it. To quote Jack Tatum, "I like to believe my best hits border on felonious assault."
And Mr Suh needs to be booted from the league. Stomping someone has no place in football.
Lastly, I watch NASCAR because I like watching people make left hand turns all day.
I know its been happening all season, but its finally sunk in. Why in the world are they taking the hits out of American football? I'm not paying a hundred plus dollars a ticket to watch a bunch of millionaires play two hand touch. Where is the entertainment in that? For the ammount of money I have to pay to go to a game I wanna see someone get there head knocked off! It's bad enough the games are interrupted every five minutes for commercial breaks. This is getting absurd. I wanna get back to the days, of Skip Thomas, Howie Long, Dick Butkus, and my all time favorite Jack Tatum. By God those men could take your head off. I'm tired of these prissy millionaires and these no hit rules. I might have to start watching rugby. Least they can still hit. Ok I'm done with my rant now.
Oh and go Raiders and Go Blues!
Root beer, good call on the green tea. It did help some. Sorry to hear about the leg homie, and hopefully the recovery won't be too bad.
Clayton, that's hilarious about the chick legs. Up until I was asked to permanently leave college, I used to ride my mountain bike all the time. I put thousands of miles on that bike before we got rid of it.
If I wasn't pumping all my extra money into going to this competition I would definitely get another bike. Maybe I can find one on the internet for dirt cheap. I would like to take it back up, but don't know if I can afford it yet. Oh well, I gotta get to the gym.
I didn't know it would help with stride. My baby bro told me it'll give you some massive legs if you do it enough. Sounds like its win win. I get to do it three days a week on alternating days, so hopefully it will pay dividends with the weight lifting program we put together. Oh, and next Friday my bro and my other buddy are going with me and I get to do it to failure. In layman's terms you go at an even pace everytime up and down till your muscles fail. It gives you a maximum set point for that muscle sets total endurance. After working out another four to six weeks you go to failure again. This allows you to physically see your progress. I've done this for years with my weight training but never knew you could apply it to cardio as well.
My poor legs, feel like jelly. I ran the hill at my old high school for an hour earlier today. It's sits at about a 50 degree angle and is 150 yards from base to top. The last 20 times up I ran on my toes. Sweet mother Mary that did me in. However I absolutely loved it, and I haven't had a cig since then either. I think I have found a new hobby and a reason to quit smoking all rolled into one. This is as fun if not more than power lifting was. Man I love life.
Bout to go try it out in about forty five minutes. If I can put the heart into that I used to put into my clean and jerks. I think it could be a blast.
Running hills sounds fun. It actually sounds like a lot of fun. I'm gonna try that. Biking sounds fun also. I always enjoyed biking when I was in my teens. Still hill running sounds more my style. Homie I am so doing that tommorow.
So tomorrow starts my first day of training for the 2013 winter Tough Guy challenge. I got a year to get back in shape for this. The lifting and General working out is a snap. However the cardio is gonna be rotten, I've never been that big on cardio, but I got to do it.
Also any of you guys wanna setup a team and go with me. Appearntly it nets discounts on entry fees to go as a team rather than as an individual. So anyone wanna go with me?
That is hysterical. Oh, and I am sad to say I have pondered the meat thermometer before. As well as a few other things in the kitchen while in a state similar to that. How I lived through those two years of college I will never know.
Happy thanksgiving everyone. Very good point bluebasser. So thank you to all who serve at home and abroad, be you military or public servant. All yall do for us is appreciated. Thank yall for sacrificing your time with family and friends to make this world and country a better place.
And lastly Go Raiders! Raider Nation For Life.
And for you Futball fans out there, Go Blue! Chelsea til I die!
Seems to me Mr. Greenberg and a few others are under the impression that they can and have done no wrong, and want to be treated like royalty. I say we honor their wishes and treat them as such. Just as the French did theirs in the late 1700's.
Depending on the wants and house size, the electrical is generally 35 to 50 per square foot. Least it was 5 years ago when I was doing residential. Also if you get can lights, DO NOT get those lightolier can lights. The trims warp and break. There nothing more than high dollar junk.
Homie, I'm working on mod for the nerf Long Shot, and on the belt fed nerd gun. Once I finish my testing and fine tuning I'll get the information to ya. And out of curiosity, which nerf guns you trying to Mod?
