I use H20 hooks because they are cheap. Lose maybe 1 out of every 15 bites if that. I wait one second and then give it a good strong side sweeping hook set and that works really well for me. If pitching reeds or grass I watch the line more than feel it. When the line starts to move then still a side sweeping hook set but much harder.

First place yesterday was a 35lb stringer weighed in by Chad Prough. 52 anglers brought 20lb sacks to the scales. And from the updates iv read so far today, looks like there will be more 20lb sacks brought in today. Should be a very close. I would be willing to bet that it will take almost 40lbs to make the cut.

I'm looking at getting a new TW bait. I'v pretty much narrowed it down to a LC Sammy or a Yellow Magic popper. Any experience with these baits?
