  1. Toast-a-chee sammich crackers and Vienna sausages (the hot sauce ones) I seriously think that’s the only times I eat either of those things but it’s almost like a tradition thing at this point. It’s just what I take
  2. Thanks Glen, it was great meeting you and your wife as well. If nothing else I have some great memories. I had a blast at the 2 trips I attended. I’m sure the economy isn’t helping anybody on the boater side of things either here lately, not to mention the travel costs and gas, etc. I get it. I miss Kent’s box of wine also ?
  3. Hi Glenn and Kent and all the mods, and everyone else…I’ve been away for a while and coming back around just wanted to know, are road trips still a thing?? Me and my friend Bryan had a blast, and we are both Iraq vets and we were both humbled by the kind words and fellowship we had on the road-trips years back. I don’t know if he still gets in here often but I still check in from time to time and just wanted to say that I personally had a great time with all the crew back in the day. That being said, as the title states…are road trips still a thing?
  4. I have the dobyns fury 733 and it excels at the baits that are printed on its blank. It’s actually one of the best utility “do it all” rods that I’ve ever used for pond hopping and bank beating as well.
  5. That’s the worm. Both those baits are money Just wish I could find a local shop that has em. I prefer to buy local but guess I’m stuck doin online. Was just Wondering tho if anybody else here had used em
  6. Those worms are the original producto type my cousin introduced me to. Yeah they caught em real good. They had a “chameleon” color that looked kinda brown but shined purple in the sun. Those straight tails with the paddles and their buzz shads were real killers The shads
  7. Anybody else here love them? Their buzz tail shad and original worm are killers for me. I got a 100pk of each from my cousin as a Christmas gift and running low. I was wondering if anybody knew where they could be bought or are they ONLY available directly from their company.
  8. Does anybody know any places that would be able to be wade fished on Fork? I’m new to Dallas area and wanna fish Fork or any of the nearby large bodies of water but left my boat in Florida when I moved. Any input would be greatly appreciated. If not if anybody had an empty seat I’ll take that too haha. Thanks everyone
  9. I know the plethora of big water opportunities in my area. I just moved to Red Oak TX from Florida and I’m lookin for some good ponds/small lakes that are fishable from the bank. If anybody in the area knows any please lemme know! Also if ya have an empty seat some time for big water I’d definitely be on board. Hope to hear from y’all! Thanks
  10. Wife’s outta town in TX and I’ve been wanting to get outta my local area (jacksonville, FL outskirts/macclenny) to do some catchin. I’d help out for fuel or whatever ya need. Thanks for lookin. Oh an N.FlMike I’m not moving to TX now!
  11. For the guy who asked about crappie from shore...I walked about 2 miles of beautiful shoreline along the St. Mary’s river today with a black and yellow beetle spin and caught one behind almost every current break I came to. There was one spot with a large cypress tree that had a large eddy and deep hole behind it where they were stacked like you wouldn’t believe. I caught at least 15 fish off that one spot, 2 of the fish ended up being very nice sized red breast sunfish. Now if I can figure out how to post the pics I will. Idunno how to minimize the file size of my pics on my iPhone. If anyone could assist I have pics to go along with it.
  12. I would definitely recommend having roadwarrior in the boat with you there. It’d be like having a free expert guided trip. He knows his stuff on those waters. By the way RW say hi sometime ?
  13. I feel so bad for y’all norfers every time I see these. At least ya DO have the salmonids n other cold water fish to hold ya over?
  14. Nice one for sure!
  15. Both are fun and I’ve caught big smallies in both but...Pickwick hands down for me
